American International Leads NE10 Members at No. 21 Nationally
MANSFIELD, Mass. - Ten Northeast-10 Conference schools are ranked in the top 100 of the Learfield Directors' Cup Standings following the fall season. American International leads the way from the NE10 as the Yellow Jackets accumulated 151.0 points, which puts them 21st overall in the national rankings. The ten schools among the top 100 is tied with the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference for the highest number from one conference to be ranked in the first 100 of the rankings.

Four NE10 schools were among the top 50 in the country. Following AIC, was Stonehill (133.50, 29th), Assumption (117, 40th), and Adelphi (114, 44th) in the top 50 overall. The other NE10 members in the top 100 are: Merrimack (54th), Southern Connecticut (65th), New Haven (71st), Franklin Pierce (88th), and Saint Anselm and Southern New Hampshire (tied for 97th).
LIU Post, which is an associate member of the NE10 in the sports of field hockey and football, is the highest-ranked institution in the East Region as the Pioneers are ranked 4th currently. 90 of LIU Post's 252 total points currently were accumulated by the field hockey team, which advanced to the national title game.
The Learfield Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today.
