Drew Adderly ‘92 – Men’s Basketball – Assumption
The leading scorer in the history of the Northeast-10 Conference
and the College, Drew Adderly averaged 20.1 points-per-game, earned
all-New England honors four times, all-conference three times and
was a two-time all-American.
His raw figures were staggering---2,489 points, 820 rebounds, 235
steals, a record 642-for-901 free throws, a .556 career field goal
percentage,115 double figure scoring games, three straight
Northeast-10 Conference championships and two N.C.A.A. regional
tournaments. He set the standard bar up high and only he could
'sky' high enough to reach it time and time again.
He was captain and team Most Valuable Player as both a junior and
senior. He was the first athlete to win the Andrew Laska Award as
the male athlete of the year three times
He played professional basketball in Brazil, Cyprus, Finland,
Hungary, Sweden and Venezuela--- winning two national championships
as well as an international championship in Europe. He also played
briefly with the Albany Patroons (CBA).
