February 9 

The UMass Lowell Women's basketball Alumnae Day will have a special focus added to this year's event.  The Women's Basketball Coaches Association is sponsoring a nationwide 'Think Pink' campaign for the month of February and UMass Lowell has signed on to promote this worthy cause at its February 9th game versus Le Moyne.  All proceeds generated at this event will be donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization.

Saint Michael's College is encouraging fans to wear pink clothing to the NE-10 contest versus Southern Connecticut. There will be "Think Pink" T-shirts on sale for $10, with all proceeds benefiting the Vermont and New Hampshire affiliates of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

All fans that wear pink to the Southern New Hampshire women's basketball contest versus Pace on February 9th will get free admission to the game.  There will be FREE DOOR PRIZES to the first 200 people wearing pink!  Donations will be accepted and limited 'Think Pink' t-shirts will be sold.  Proceeds to benefit cancer charities.  Please help us increase cancer awareness and fight this vicious disease!

Stonehill College is offering free admission for all who wear pink during the Skyhawks match-up with Bentley.  Donations will be accepted.  All proceeds will be donated to Breast Cancer Awareness. 

   

 February 13

The Southern Connecticut women's basketball team will host an event for it's game against Pace University in support of the WBCA 'Think Pink' initiative.  The Owls will be wearing pink uniforms and in addition, there will be several promotional ventures for the 5:30 p.m. game, including giveaways for all the fans and a special drawing at halftime for selected marquee prizes.  Visit the official website of Owls Athletics for more details (www.southernctowls.com)

During American International's home contest versus Bentley, the Yellow Jackets will be handing out pink ribbons to everyone at the gate.  In addition, during the course of the game the public address announcer will read announcements about the 'Think Pink' initiative. The coaching staff, along with the score's table will be wearing pink shirts during the game.
 

 February 16

The Le Moyne College Dolphins will be wearing pink uniforms during their NE-10 contests versus Saint Anselm.  Le Moyne Athletics will also be working with the American Cancer Society of Central New York to promote this game. 

Pace University Setters: The first 700 fans to make a donation to the breast cancer research fund gets a 'Think Pink' t-shirt at the February 16 game vs. Saint Michael's.  Also, pink ribbons will be given to all fans.  In addition, the players will have pink shoelaces, wristbands and headbands.

The College of Saint Rose will be handing out pink mini basketballs (while supplies last) during its February 16 contest versus American International.  The Golden Knights will also donate proceeds from the gate to three difference charities (Jimmy V Foundation, Susan G. Komen Foundation and Camp BraveHearts). Additionally, the College will match what the Golden Knights collect at the gate.

Think Pink Week 

During the Assumption College women's basketball contests on Wednesday, Feb. 13 versus Merrimack and Saturday, Feb. 16 versus Stonehill, students that donate $1 will receive a 'Think Pink' t-shirt.  In addition, pink wrist bands will also be passed out. The Bentley College Falcons are on the road during the 'Think Pink' initiative, however the team will be wearing pink warm-up shirts during those games and the coaching staff will be wearing pink ribbons.  Bentley will host their 'Think Pink' game at a later home date. 

During the 'Think Pink' Initiative, the Franklin Pierce University Ravens women's and men's team will be wearing pink wristbands for the games.  In addition, the scores table will be outfitted in the 'Think Pink' t-shirts and will also have public address announcements. Franklin Pierce has also been running the 'Kay Yow' V Foundation spot on its NE10.tv webcasts.
