South Easton, Mass. – Last week, the Northeast-10 announced that the conference has teamed with Pack Network to stream live broadband ‘PackCasts’ of six Northeast-10 football games this season. Today, the Northeast-10 is pleased to announce the launching of Northeast10.tv which will serve as the home for Northeast-10 webcasts and videos.

Northeast10.tv will debut Saturday, Sept. 19 with the first home football game on the campus of the University of New Haven since 2003 as the Chargers host Bentley University for a 1 p.m. kickoff. Chris Villani and Steve Zerdelian will call the action live from DellaCamera Stadium.

Fans can watch the live ‘PackCast’ free of charge by visiting www.northeast10.tv or by accessing the available link on www.northeast10.org, the official website of Northeast-10 athletics. Pack Network webcasts feature all the elements of traditional TV broadcasts, such as multiple camera angles, replays, commentary and more.

New Haven looks to bounce back from last week’s Northeast-10 opening loss on the road versus Assumption. Quarterback Ryan Osieski (Seymour, Conn.) completed 32 passes for 348 yards and a touchdown. Sharieff Hall (Brockton, Mass.) had 12 receptions for 134 yards.

Bentley enters the contest 3-0 for the first time since 2003 after defeating Saint Anselm College, 24-0, in its Northeast-10 opener. Junior quarterback Bryant Johnson (Hopedale, Mass.) threw for two touchdowns and 134 yards in the win. The Falcons limited Saint Anselm to 125 yards total offense and eight first downs in the victory.

Veteran Broadcaster Eric Frede, who has appeared on NESN and Fox Sports New England, will join Zerdelian in the broadcast booth and provide the play-by-play for the remaining ‘PackCasts’. For more information and complete ‘PackCasts’ schedule visit the Northeast-10 website for up to the minute updates.

In addition to live webcasts, fans will also be able to access archived games and video clips through Northeast10.tv.

With 16 member institutions the Northeast-10 shares the distinction of being the largest Division II conference in the country along with the PSAC and WVIAC. Its 23 championship sports provide athletic opportunities for over 5,500 student-athletes, the largest such program of any Division II conference.
