Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Pat O'Connor, Bryant (Jr., OF, Mattapoisett, Mass.) - Hit .462 (6/13), with three doubles and two home runs, while slugging 1.154 in a 2-2 week. In addition, scored four runs and drove in six, while drawing one walk. In the victory over Bentley on Sunday, went 3-for-4 at the plate with five RBI, including a homerun and three runs.

Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Week

Eric Loh, Bryant (Sr., RHP, Old Greenwich, Conn.) - In the season debut versus Bentley on Saturday, pitched six innings, while allowing one run on six hits. Struck out two batters in the process to record the victory.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Mark Andrews, Bryant (Fr., LHP, Hillsborough, N.J.) - In two appearances this past weekend, pitched four innings of relief, while allowing only one hit. Recorded three strikeouts while surrendering zero runs.


Weekly Honor Roll:

Garrett Stenhouse, Bentley (So., 1B, Warwick, R.I.) - Opened the season with five hits in eight at bats (.625), one double, one homer, three runs scored and four RBI in two games. Had a .667 on base percentage and a 1.125 slugging percentage. Had four hits and four RBI in a 10-9 loss to Bryant.

Jason Alexander, Bryant (Sr., INF, Simsbury, Conn.) – In a 2-2 week, batted .412 (7/17), while scoring four times. In addition had two doubles and stole a base.

Nick Campbell, Bryant (So., OF, Raynham, Mass.) - Hit .333 (6-18) in a 2-2 week, while scoring six runs. Four of his six hits were doubles. Added a stolen base and two walks.

Taylor Ferguson, Bryant (So., OF, Charlton, Mass.) – Hit .353, (6/17) in a 2-2 week, Connected on a home run and scored three times, stole two bases and reached base nine times out of 19 tries.

Pat McKenna, Bryant (Jr., SS, Orange, Conn.) - Batted .400 (6/15), while scoring four runs and driving in four during a 2-2 weekend. Also added two doubles, a home run and two stolen bases. Had a .733 slugging percentage and reached base in 11-of- 20 plate appearances.

Dylan Stone, Bryant (So., INF/OF, Portsmouth, R.I.) – In a 2-2 week, hit .385 (5/13) with four doubles and a .692 slugging percentage. Knocked in two runs and scored once.

Jeff Vigurs, Bryant (So., C, South Windor, Conn.) - Hit .353, (6-17), with three RBI and four runs scored, along with a stolen base in a 2-2 week.

Kevin Bowerman, Southern Connecticut (Jr., 2B, West Haven, Conn.) - Hit 8-for-13 (.615) with five RBI over three games at Florida Tech this past weekend. On Saturday, went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI in the front end of a doubleheader then went 2-for-4 with two RBI in the nightcap. On Sunday, hit 3-for-4 with two RBI, a run scored and a stolen base.

Karl Derbacher, Southern Connecticut (Jr., OF, Northford, Conn.) - Went 4-for-13 (.308) with two extra-base hits and drove in three runs over three games at Florida Tech this past weekend. On Saturday, hit 1-for-5 with an RBI double in the first game of a doubleheader, then 2-for-4 in the second game. On Sunday, hit 1-for-4 with a two-run triple, scored two runs, drew a walk and stole a base.
