Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Neil Ross, Pace (Sr., OF, Cortland Manor, N.Y.) - Batted .524 (11-for-21) with 10 runs scored, five RBI, a double and three homeruns, while slugging 1.000 in seven games this past week. Went 3-for-8 in two games against West Chester with three runs scored and two RBI. Went 2-for-4 in a doubleheader against Barton with a solo homerun and two runs scored. In a win over UNC Pembroke, collected three hits in four at-bats with a pair of solo homeruns and scored four runs, while stealing a base.

Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Week

Jim Fuller, Southern Connecticut (So., SP, Marlborough, Mass.) - Pitched a nine-inning, complete-game shutout, walked two and struck out 11 in a 5-0 win over Dominican.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Derek Ingui, Franklin Pierce (Fr., DH, Sterling, Mass.) - Hit a combined .429 (9-for-21) with four runs scored, a home run and four RBI in a 4-1 week. Slugged .571 and posted a .429 on-base percentage for the week. Collected a home run in win at Nova Southeastern. Was 2-for-6 with an RBI in win at Palm Beach Atlantic. Hit 3-for-4 with an RBI and run scored in game two against Palm Beach Atlantic.

Weekly Honor Roll:

David Dest, American International (Sr., 2B, Orange, Conn.) - Started the week by cracking three hits and driving in four runs versus Bentley. Against Stonehill, grabbed one hit and drove in one run.

Joe Dorr, Bentley (So., SS, Wayland, Mass.) - Hit .471 (8-17) during a 1-3 week with a triple, three runs scored and three RBI. Had a pair of three-hit games and extended his hitting streak to seven.

Chris Hardy, Bentley (Fr., OF, Warwick, R.I.) - In a 1-3 week, hit .412 (7-17) and extended his hitting streak to 14 games. Doubled twice, scored three runs and had one RBI. Had three hits in an 11-8 win over American International.

Kevin Cobb, Bryant (Jr., SP, Acton, Mass.) - Threw eight innings of four-hit, one-run baseball in Game 2 of the doubleheader against Bentley to lead the Bulldogs to a 3-1 victory. Walked two batters, while striking out nine.

Mike Adams, Franklin Pierce (Jr., SP, Orchard Park, N.Y.) - Pitched seven innings of four-hit shutout work in the win at Nova Southeastern. Struck out four and walked just two.

Kevin Renaud, Franklin Pierce (Sr., OF, Southbridge, Mass.) - Hit a combined .500 (9-for-18) with six runs scored, two doubles, a triple and eight RBI in a 3-1 week. Slugged .722 and posted a .476 on-base percentage with a stolen base for the week. Opened the week by going 2-for-5 with a stolen base, run scored and two RBI at Lynn. Was 2-for-4 with a triple and two runs scored in win at Nova Southeastern. Hit 2-for-5 with a double and two RBI in win over Palm Beach Atlantic. Capped the week by going 3-for-4 with a double, three runs scored and four RBI in second win at Palm Beach Atlantic.

Kevin Rivers, Franklin Pierce (So., OF, Bristol, Conn.) - Hit a combined .474 (9-for-19) with six runs scored, three doubles and nine RBI in a 3-1 week. Hit 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI at Lynn. Batted 4-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and three RBI in win at Nova Southeastern. Was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI in game two win over Palm Beach Atlantic.

Jake Halloran, Merrimack (Fr., SP, Stoneham, Mass.) - Hurled a complete-game five-hit, 10 strike out shutout in a 3-0 victory over Dominican.

Jack Cawley, Pace (Sr., OF, Bronx, N.Y.) - Batted .357 (10-for-28) and slugged .679 with three homeruns, four RBI, six runs scored and was 2-for-2 in stolen bases. Went 3-for-6 with two runs scored with one RBI and stole two bases in a doubleheader split with West Chester. Hit solo homeruns in games against Barton and in a win over UNC Pembroke. Went 3-for-6 with a homerun in a win over Chowan.

Vinny Dammann, Pace (So., OF, Mullica Hill, N.J.) - Batted .444 (8-for-18) with six runs scored, six RBI and a homerun. Went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in a twin bill split with West Chester. Went 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI and three runs scored in a win over UNC Pembroke. Went 2-for-2 with a homerun, two RBI and a run scored in a win over Chowan. Went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored against Christopher Newport.

Nick DeMidio, Saint Rose (Jr., SP, Scotia, N.Y.) - Went 1-0 this week behind a complete game shutout against Southern New Hampshire. Fanned six batters, walked one and scattered four hits over the distance. Held the Penmen to a .148 average, while not allowing an extra-base hit in the contest.

Jake Perez, Saint Rose (So., OF, North East, Pa.) - Batted .444 after going 4-for-9 throughout a 3-0 week. Scored two runs, belted a double, and had a .556 slugging percentage to go with a .444 on-base percentage. In a 4-0 victory over Southern New Hampshire, finished 3-for-4 with two runs and a double. In a 4-1 win over the Penmen in the nightcap, was 1-for-3.

Mike Diaz, Southern Connecticut (Jr. , SS, Monroe, Conn.) - Hit .462 (6-for-13) with a double, two homeruns, six runs batted in, four runs scored, three stolen bases, two walks and was hit by a pitch in a 1-3 week.
