Weekly Notes:
ASSUMPTION: Freshman running back Herb Woodard is only
the third Greyhound to rush for over 100 yards in consecutive games
(Rich Dandini '89 and Billy DeMalia '02 also accomplished the
feat). Junior quarterback Taylor Humphrey (Lafayette, Calif.) is
only the second Greyhound quarterback to have more than 20
completions in a game (Chad Carges '01 did it four times).
BRYANT: Bryant's 3-0 start is the best start to a season
in school history. Saturday's win over Assumption was head coach
Marty Fine's 22nd at Bryant, passing former coach Jim Miceli for
the all-time record for wins in a career. Sophomore running back
Lindsey Gamble tied a school record with four rushing touchdowns
against Assumption on Saturday.
