Northeast-10 Offensive Player of the Week

Jerom Freeman, Southern Connecticut (So., RB, Peekskill, N.Y.) Recorded 248 yards on 31 carries and scored three touchdowns in the win over Assumption. Had 160 of his yards in the second half. Scored on runs on 37, 10 and 16 yards. Also caught two passes for 11 yards.

Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Week

Darryl Laforest, Bentley (So., DL, Roslindale, Mass.) - Recorded eight tackles, including three sacks (-10 yards), as Bentley limited Pace to 38 yards total offense in a 25-6 win. Had 4.5 tackles for losses.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Rob Parent, American International (Fr., QB, West Warwick, R.I.) - Competed 17-of-23 passes for 420 yards and four touchdowns in the 44-21 victory over Merrimack.


Weekly Honor Roll:

Adeboyega Akingba, American International (Jr., RB, Brooklyn, N.Y.) - Had 160 yards of total offense and scored two touchdowns. Had six carries for 65 yards and one touchdown and caught three passes for 95 yards and one score in the win over Merrimack.

Chris Martino, Assumption (Jr., DB, Lincroft, N.J.) - Had 10 tackles (6 solo), a tackle-for-loss (1 yard), a pass breakup, an interception, and an on-side kick recovery versus Southern Connecticut.

Dustin Zitzmann, Assumption (So., LB, Pinellas Park, Fla.) - Recorded 20 tackles (5 solo), a tackle-for-loss (1 yard), a sack (1 yard), and a pass breakup versus Southern Connecticut.

Paul Tetzel, Bentley (Sr., S, Millbury, Mass.) - Had 161 return yards, including a kickoff return for a touchdown (89 yards) in the 25-6 victory over Pace. Finished with two kickoff returns for 110 yards, five punt returns for 51, and three tackles.

Paul Polomski, Bryant (So., LB, Franklin, Mass.) - Recorded 14 tackles in the win over C.W. Post. Ten of the 14 tackles were solo stops. Also added a sack for a loss of six yards.

Jerell Smith, Bryant (So., RB, Brooklyn, N.Y.) - Rushed for 125 yards on 20 carries in a 24-17 win at C.W. Post.

Matt Bright, C.W. Post (So., LB, East Meadow, N.Y.) - Against Bryant, recorded 12 tackles, including five solos for a total loss of four yards.

Brian Schuster, Pace (Jr., LB, Miller Place, N.Y.) - Recorded 13 total tackles and one interception against Bentley.

Jeffery Payne, Stonehill (Jr., RB, West Haven, Conn.) - On 24 carries, recorded 152 yards along with three touchdowns in the win over Saint Anselm. Also had a 35 yard reception, for 187 all-purpose yards.

Eddie Vachon, Stonehill (Fr., RB, Newton, Mass.) – Rushed for 142 yards on 16 carries and scored two touchdowns. Also had a 28-yard touchdown reception, giving him 170 all-purpose yards in the win over Saint Anselm.

Weekly Notes:

BENTLEY: In Saturday's game at Pace, sophomore Tyler McNamara (Medway, Mass.) tied the Bentley single season record for field goals made, booting his eighth.

BRYANT:
Bryant extended its best start in school history, moving to 5-0 on the season with a 24-17 win at CW Post Saturday. The win marked the first win ever against C.W. Post in seven meetings.

STONEHILL:
Jeffery Payne became the first Stonehill back to crack the 150-yard mark since 2002 with his 24-carry, 152-yard performance in the win over Saint Anselm.
