Northeast-10 Co-Offensive Players of the Week

Colin Temple, Merrimack (Sr., QB, Rutland, Vt.) - Passed for 326 yards and four touchdowns while completing 15 of 25 passes in the win over Saint Anselm.

Steve Armstrong, Southern Connecticut (Jr., QB, Nutley, N.J.) - Finished 20-of-28 for 304 yards and threw four touchdown passes in the shutout victory against Pace.

Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Week

Rich O’Donnell, Merrimack (Jr., LB, Stoneham, Mass.) - Intercepted a pass and forced and recovered a fumble. Also posted 11 tackles and one sack in the win over Saint Anselm.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Rob Parent, American International (Fr., QB, West Warwick, R.I.) - Completed 18-of-36 passes for 169 yards and one touchdown in the 28-7 victory over Assumption. Also gained 14 yards on the ground and had a rushing touchdown.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Calvin Hall, American International (Sr., RB, Rochester, N.Y.) - Had 19 carries for 180 yards and scored one touchdown in the 28-7 win over Assumption. Broke off a 54-yard touchdown run 1:08 into the first quarter.

Terry Stanford, Assumption (Jr., DL, Ridgefield, N.J.) - Blocked three field goals in addition to making four tackles at American International.

Mike Griggs, Bentley (Sr., WR, Hudson, N.H.) - Caught five passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns in the 30-27 2-OT loss to C.W. Post. Both touchdowns tied the game in the fourth quarter, a 69-yarder that made it 17-17 and a 17-yarder that evened score at 24-all.

Paul Tetzel, Bentley (Sr., S, Millbury, Mass.) - Had five tackles, a fumble recovery and an interception defensively, and had a pair of 28-yard kickoff returns in the 30-27 2-OT loss to C.W. Post. The interception, deep in Bentley territory and the first against C.W. Post this season, thwarted a Pioneer scoring drive in the final two minutes of the first half, and the fumble recovery set up a game-tying scoring drive midway through the fourth quarter.

Charlie Granatell, Bryant (Sr., QB, Franklin Lakes, N.J.) - Completed 17 of 23 passes for 207 yards and two touchdowns in the 34-6 win over Stonehill. Completed passes to nine different receivers and had touchdown passes of four and 28 yards.

Andrew Kroell, C.W. Post (Jr., K, Baldwin, N.Y.) - Accounted for nine of C.W. Post's 30 points, including kicking the game-winning field goal to defeat Bentley in double-overtime.

Jamel Ramsay, C.W. Post (Sr., CB, Elmont, N.Y.) - Opened the game against Bentley with an 88-yard kick off return. Blocked Bentley’s attempted field goal kick in the second overtime period, allowing the Pioneers to score on their next drive to win the game.

Chris Laham, Merrimack (Jr., WR, Westwood, Mass.) - Caught three touchdowns and had 132 receiving yards in the victory over Saint Anselm.

Daniel Allen, Southern Connecticut (Fr., DL, Bridgeport, Conn.) - Finished with five tackles and 2.5 sacks in the shutout win over Pace.

Chris Bergeski, Southern Connecticut (Jr., WR, Mountainside, N.J.) - Caught seven passes for 148 yards in the win over Pace. Also had two touchdown receptions.

Weekly Notes:

AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL: The Yellow Jackets have now won seven consecutive games at John Homer Miller Filed and are 13-2 at home since the start of the 2004 season.

ASSUMPTION:
Terry Stanford blocked a school record three field goals at American International on Saturday.

BENTLEY:
Sophomore K Tyler McNamara (Medway, Mass.) set a Bentley single season record, and tied the NE-10 record, for field goals in a season. He currently has 10, with four regular season games still remaining, and his 16 career FG is a Bentley varsity record. Prior to Friday, Bentley had not played an overtime game in six years and had not gone to a second OT since 1996. Senior Paul Tetzel is just 80 yards away from 2,000 career return yards.

PACE:
Senior linebacker Joe Streany tied the school single-season record with his fourth fumble recovery against Southern Connecticut.
