Shannon Hlebichuk of the University of Massachusetts Lowell has been selected as the 2005 Dita/NFHCA Division II North Region Coach of the Year. Hlebichuk led her 2005 squad to a 20-3 overall record, the Northeast-10 regular season title, and the 2005 NCAA Division II National Championship. Hlebichuk was recognized as the 2005 Northeast-10 Conference Coach of the Year for her efforts.

Bertie Landes of Shippensburg University has been selected as the 2005 Dita/NFHCA Division II South Region Coach of the Year. Landes led her 2005 squad to a 20-3 overall record, to the 2005 PSAC regular season & tournament titles, and to an appearance in the 2005 NCAA Division II Final Four. Landes was recognized as the 2005 PSAC Coach of the Year for her efforts.

The 2005 Dita/NFHCA Division II National Coach of the Year will be announced at the NFHCA Awards Luncheon to be held on January 7, 2006 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
