Northeast-10 Players of the Week
Andrea Slaven, Saint Michael's (Jr., F, Danvers, Mass.) - In a win
over American International, scored three goals, including an
unassisted game-winner in overtime. Also tallied two goals and an
assist in a win over Franklin Pierce.
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Kundayi Mawema, Bryant (So., GK, Hare, Zimbabwe) - Notched three
wins in goal this past week including a six-save shutout against
Saint Anselm. Made 10 saves in the 2-1 win over Stonehill for a
total of 22 saves for the week, allowing three goals.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Julie Kuchyt, Bryant (Fr., M, Hatfield, Mass.) – In a 3-0
week, scored three goals and had two assists. Also played a key
role defensively in the win over Stonehill. Recorded a hat trick in
the 4-0 win over Saint Anselm.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Jamie Anderson, American International (Sr., F, North Attleboro,
Mass.) - Notched two assists in the 4-3-overtime loss to Saint
Michael's.
Courtney O’Brien, Bryant (Sr., F, Tewksbury, Mass.) - Scored
two goals and had two assists for six points in three wins this
past week. Scored the first goal against Stonehill and set up the
game winner. Tallied a goal in the win over Merrimack and added an
assist against Saint Anselm .
Mary Beth Huszar, Franklin Pierce (Gr., F, Greenville, N.H.) -
Scored two goals and also recorded an assist in two conference
matches last week.
Ashley Moirano, Franklin Pierce (Fr., M, South Burlington, Vt.) -
Scored a goal in the loss against C.W. Post.
Molly Clay, UMass Lowell (So., M, Rockport, Mass.) – Scored
two goals in the 3-1 victory over Southern Connecticut.
Michelle Harrington, UMass Lowell (Jr., M, Rockport, Mass.) –
Registered one goal and two assists in a 2-0 week. Scored a goal in
a 3-1 victory over Bentley. Set up two goals in the 3-1 win at
Southern Connecticut.
Kaitlin Koffink, Saint Michael's (So., M, Goffstown, N.H.) - Scored
two goals in a win over Franklin Pierce and recorded an assist in
an overtime win against American International.
Whitney Martin, Southern Connecticut (Jr., M, Harwinton, Conn.)
– Scored three goals in a 1-1 week. Netted the game-tying
goal with 38 seconds remaining, then tacked on the game-winner just
over four minutes into overtime in the 3-2 win over Assumption.
Added the lone goal against UMass-Lowell.
Lindsey Pinkham, Stonehill (Fr., M, Skowhegan, Maine) - Had assists
on both goals this past week, first in the 1-0 win over Assumption
and then the second came in the loss to Bryant.
Kerri Sullivan, Stonehill (Jr., M, Goffstown, N.H.) – In a
1-1 week, made a critical defensive save in the waning minutes to
preserve a 1-0 win over Assumption. Scored the lone goal in the 2-1
loss to Bryant.
Weekly Notes:
FRANKLIN PIERCE: Mary Beth Huszar moved into third
place on Franklin Pierce's all-time goals-scored and points list
with 15 goals and 35 points.
