Bentley University: 'Moorhead Retires as Bentley Golf Coach'

WALTHAM, Mass. – Don Moorhead has retired as golf coach at
Bentley University following 19 years at the helm, Athletics
Director Bob DeFelice announced today.
Moorhead, Bentley’s head golf coach since 1990 and an
assistant for a number of years before that, led Bentley to three
Northeast-10 Conference championships (1992, 2006, 2007) and a
berth in the NCAA Division II Regional nine times, including the
last two years. He’s earned Coach of the Year accolades in
the NE-10 on three occasions, most recently in 2007.
Moorhead, a 1970 Bentley graduate and former basketball team
captain for the Falcons, has been a member of the athletic
department staff since 1975 when he was named the athletic business
manager. He served as an assistant athletics director from
1984-2000.
