Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Josh Hechter, Saint Anselm (Jr., F, Winnipeg, Manitoba) - Was named the Northeast-10 Tournament MVP following a four-goal, two-assist tournament in wins over Stonehill and Southern New Hampshire as the Hawks captured their second-straight NE-10 crown. Scored a pair of goals and had two assists in the semifinal versus Stonehill and followed that with a two-goal showing in the final against Southern New Hampshire.
Northeast-10 Goaltender of the Week
Jason Rafuse, Saint Anselm (Jr., G, Nepean, Ontario) - Made 33 saves in two tournament wins last week, including 25 in the championship win over Southern New Hampshire.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Tom Kerwin, Saint Anselm (Fr., F, Whitman, MA) - Recorded two goals and two assists in two playoff games. Notched a goal and two assists against Stonehill, and followed with a short-handed tally in the championship game.
Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll:
Chris O'Brien, Saint Anselm (So., F, Watertown, MA) - Recorded first career hat trick versus Stonehill and had two assists in the championship game.
Tim Dancey, Saint Michael's (So., F, Anaheim, CA) - Scored twice in a semifinal loss to Southern New Hampshire.
Jared Silver, Saint Michael's (Jr., F, Montreal, Quebec) - Scored a shorthanded goal, and added an assist against Southern New Hampshire.
Brent Bousquet, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., F, East Longmeadow, MA) - Totaled two goals and one assist during two NE-10 Tournament games. Recorded all three points in a 6-3 win over Saint Michael's.
Matt Courchesne, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., G, Bow, NH) - Stopped 58 of 65 shots (.892 save%) during two NE-10 Tournament games. Made 26 saves in a semifinal win over Saint Michael's and stopped 32 shots in a loss to Saint Anselm in the championship game.
Dominic DiMarzo, Southern New Hampshire (So., F, East Boston, MA) - Totaled three goals and one assist during two NE-10 Tournament games. Contributed a goal and an assist in a semifinal win over Saint Michael's and scored twice in a loss to Saint Anselm in the title game.

SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE: The Penmen finished runner-up to Saint Anselm College in the NE-10 Tournament for the second-straight year following Saint Anselm's 5-3 win over SNHU Saturday night before a capacity crowd of 574 at The Ice Den in Hooksett, N.H. SNHU played the game without head coach Rene Le Clerc, who was recovering at Manchester's Catholic Medical Center after suffering a mild heart attack Friday morning. The Penmen trailed 2-0 after one period, but scored three goals on just five shots in the first 2:19 of the second period to take a 3-2 lead. Senior Chris White (Naperville, IL) totaled a goal and an assist during SNHU's two playoff games last week and closed out his career with 102 points (45 gls, 57 asts) in 106 gamesSTONEHILL: Stonehill, winners of 11 of its last 15 contests, matched the school single-season record for victories with 14 triumphs and advanced to the Northeast-10/ECAC Division II semi-finals for the fourth time in seven years. Skyhawk Head Coach Scott Harlow has been named as the Northeast-10/ECAC Division II Coach of the Year on three occasions during his six-year tenure in garnering this year's accolade. 2005-2006 Northeast-10 Freshman of the Year Brendan O'Brien (Braintree, MA) set a Stonehill single season record for assists with 32 helpers this season and tied for the conference scoring lead with 42 pointsSAINT MICHAEL'S: The Purple Knights gave up three third period goals to Southern New Hampshire on Wednesday, a feat the Penmen accomplished a year ago when they defeated Saint Michael's in the semifinals, also by a 6-3 score. Junior Jared Silver (Montreal, Quebec) tallied his sixth shorthanded goal of the year at the 14:04 mark of the first period, and with 13 scores this season, the Purple Knights' penalty-kill unit eclipsed the program record of 12, set by the 1999-2000 squad. With 123 points and 76 assists, senior co-captain Alex Watts (Cheshire, CT) finished his career seventh on the all-time list in both categories, while Silver will enter his senior season just 26 penalty minutes short of the program record of 212, while standing sixth in assists (77) and eighth in total points (121).
