Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Brandon Hammermeister, Southern New Hampshire (So., F, Calgary, Alberta) -Totaled six points (3G, 3A) in a 1-1 week. Had two goals and one assist against Saint Anselm and contributed a goal and two assists in a loss to Wentworth.
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Jason Rafuse, Saint Anselm (Jr., G, Nepean, Ontario) - Made 78 saves in a 1-0-1 week. Tallied 40 saves, including six in overtime, in a tie with Hamilton, and made 38 saves in the win over Amherst.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Mike Nunzianto, Saint Anselm (Fr., D, Guilford, CT) - Tallied four points in three games. Scored a goal in each game and added an assist against Amherst.
Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll:
Jared Silver, Saint Michael's (Jr., F, Montreal, Quebec) - Scored a goal in the 6-2 loss to Skidmore, and followed it with two goals and one assist in the 7-3 win over Castleton State.
Alex Watts, Saint Michael's (Sr., F, Cheshire, CT) - Scored two goals and assisted on two more in a win over Castleton State. Also credited with an assist against Skidmore.
Joshua Douglas, Southern New Hampshire (So., F, Mississauga, Ontario) - Scored a goal in each game during a 1-1 week. Netted the game-winning overtime goal in a win against Saint Anselm.
Matt Curran, Stonehill (So., F, Scarborough, ME) - Netted three goals and three assists for six points in a 2-1 week, including a goal and three helpers in a 5-3 win at Franklin Pierce to go with a pair of goals in 7-1 triumph at Framingham State.
Brian Dudley, Stonehill (Sr., F, Waltham, MA) - Netted three goals and an assist for four points in a 2-1 week, including a pair of markers in 5-3 win at Franklin Pierce and a goal and an assist in a 7-1 triumph at Framingham State.
Brian Lewis, Stonehill (Sr., F, Cohasset, MA) - Netted five goals in a 2-1 week, including two goals each in a 7-1 win at Framingham State and a 4-2 setback at Salve Regina. Added a marker in a 5-3 win at Franklin Pierce.
Northeast-10 Weekly Notes:
STONEHILL: Winners of 10 of its last 11 contests dating back to December 10th, Stonehill's 13 victories to date marks the second highest single-season win total in school history. Stonehill ran its school-record winning streak to nine straight with Tuesday's triumph at Framingham State. Senior F Brian Lewis (Cohasset, MA) has scored at least one goal in seven of the Skyhawks' last eight outings. Stonehill has outscored its opponents by a 67-25 margin over the last 11 games, netting four or more goals in 10 of those contests. Juniors Josh Green (Mendon, MA) and Matt Gorman (Southboro, MA) have a combined 12-2 mark and a 2.92 goals against average in net for the Skyhawks to date. Senior F Brian Dudley (Waltham, MA) picked up his third game-winning goal of the season in Saturday's triumph at Franklin PierceSAINT MICHAEL'S: The Purple Knights fell to Skidmore College on Friday, 6-2, before defeating Castleton State on Saturday, 7-3. The team's game against the Spartans marked the final regular season home contest for five Saint Michael's seniors: Nick Dancey (Anaheim, CA), Craig Geregosian (North Andover, MA), David Mullins (Montreal, Quebec), Jonathan Perez (Sherman Oaks, CA), and Alex Watts (Cheshire, CT). Four of the five seniors were credited with points, and combined to earn three goals and six assists.
