Weekly Notes:

STONEHILL: Stonehill captured its first-ever Northeast-10 tournament crown with 109 minutes and 39 seconds of action during Sunday's championship series play at Saint Anselm, as the Skyhawks become the first team other than the Hawks or Saint Michael's to win the playoff crown. Sophomore forward Brendan O'Brien joins former Skyhawk standout Rob Pascale as Northeast-10 Player of the Year recipients, as Pascale copped the honor in 2003, while Scott Harlow was tabbed as the Northeast-10 Coach of the Year for the second straight season and fourth time in his career. Junior forward Matt Curran broke Pascale's single-season goals record with a career-high four goal performance in a 6-2 semi-final round win over Assumption, as he added a tally in Sunday's 5-3 second game championship win to finish the year with 30 goals. Sunday's second game championship win at Saint Anselm was Stonehill's first over the Hawks in 14 series meetings between the two teams. The Skyhawks tied the school record for victories in one season with 14, matching the mark set in 1998-99 and tied again last year.
