Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Zachary Cantin, Stonehill (Jr., F, Walpole, Mass.) - Totaled four
goals in a 2-0 week. Had a hat trick in a 8-5 win over Suffolk and
then a goal in a 4-3 OT win over Wentworth.
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper and Freshman of the
Week
Nick Blanchette, Assumption (Fr., G, Stuart, Fla.) - In the lone
game of the week, recorded a 2-1 win over Franklin Pierce, making
28 saves on 29 shots for a save percentage of .966
Weekly Honor Roll:
Paul Snell, Saint Anselm (So., F, Groton, Mass.) - In the 4-2
victory over Saint Michael’s, tallied a goal and two assists.
Assisted on the first goal of the game, gave the Hawks the lead in
the second period on a goal and assisted on the game-winner in the
third period.
Alex Wyse, Saint Anselm (So., G, Amherst, N.Y.) - Made 70 saves
this past weekend versus No. 13 ranked Norwich and Saint
Michael’s. In the victory over the Purple Knights, set aside
38 shots, including 15 in the third period.
Ryan Mero, Saint Michael's (Sr., F, Peekskill, N.Y.) - In a 0-2
week, totaled three points - one goal and two assists. The two
assists came in a 5-3 loss at New England College, with the goal
coming in a 4-2 loss at Saint Anselm.
Bob Bryant, Southern New Hampshire (So., F, Nashua, N.H.) - Totaled
two goals and an assist in a 1-1 week. Registered a goal and an
assist in a 5-4 win over Salve Regina.
Andrew Diozzi, Stonehill (Fr., F, Belmont, Mass.) - Had a goal and
an assist in the 4-3 OT win over Wentworth and followed it up with
an assist in a 8-5 win over Suffolk.
Bill Harris, Stonehill (Fr., F, Weymouth, Mass.) - Scored two goals
in an 8-5 win over Suffolk.
Brendan O'Brien, Stonehill (Sr., F, Braintree, Mass.) - Had three
assists in an 8-5 win over Suffolk, and the game tying goal and
game winning assist in a 4-3 OT win over Wentworth.
Weekly Notes:
STONEHILL: With his three assists on Saturday Brendan
O'Brien became the first Stonehill player to reach 100 career
assists. The three point performance also put him into third place
on the all-time scoring list with 134 points.
