Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Ryan Mero, Saint Michael's (Sr., F, Peekskill, N.Y.) - In a 1-1 week, collected five points - three goals and two assists. In a 5-3 win over Southern New Hampshire, scored two goals and added two assists - and in the process surpassed the 100 career-point mark. Also registered a goal in a loss against Middlebury.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Nick Blanchette, Assumption (Fr., G, Stuart, Fla.) - In two appearances made 87 saves on 95 shots for a save percentage of .916. Recorded his first collegiate shutout in a 3-0 victory over conference opponent Stonehill.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Joe Frasso, Assumption (Fr., F, Winthrop, Mass.) - In a 1-2 week, scored the lone goal against Fitchburg State and then followed up and scored the second goal in a 3-0 shutout of Stonehill.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Phil LaBreck, Franklin Pierce (Jr., F, Thornton, N.H.) - Finished with two goals and two assists for four points in a pair of games last week. Tallied two goals and an assist at Saint Anselm. Chipped in an assist at Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Kevin Fairweather, Saint Anselm (So., G, Woburn, Mass.) – Made 31 saves, including 14 in the third period, and allowed only one goal to pick up his first career victory in the 4-1 victory over UMass-Boston this past Saturday.

Mike Nunzianto, Saint Anselm (Sr., D, Guilford, Conn.) - Led the Hawks with six points this past week. In the NE-10 victory over Franklin Pierce, had two assists, in the loss to Babson netted a goal and an assist and in the win over UMass-Boston had another two assist game.

Tom Kerwin, Saint Anselm (Sr., F, Whitman, Mass.) - Tallied two goals, including the game-winner, in the 5-4 overtime NE-10 victory over the Franklin Pierce. Gave the Hawks the lead in the first period, then lifted the Hawks to victory only 30 seconds into the overtime period.

Brendan O’Brien, Stonehill (Sr., F, Braintree, Mass.) – In a 1-2 week, dished out four assists in a 6-3 win over Salve Regina. Followed it up with a goal in a 5-4 loss to Western New England.

Paul Reissfelder, Stonehill (Sr., F, Plymouth, Mass.) – In a 1-2 week, recorded a hat trick in a 6-3 win over Salve Regina.


Weekly Notes:

SAINT MICHAEL’S: With his four-point night against Southern New Hampshire on Tuesday, Ryan Mero became the 13th player in the program's history to surpass the 100 career-point mark. Senior captain Chris Healey played in his 100th career game on Saturday.

STONEHILL: With his three assists on Saturday Brendan O'Brien became the first Stonehill player to reach 100 career assists. The three point performance also put him into third place on the all-time scoring list with 134 points.
