Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Troy Maybury, Southern New Hampshire (So., F, South Portland,
Maine) - Totaled three goals and two assists in a 1-1 week.
Finished with two goals and an assist in a setback to Nichols.
Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Ben Siok, Franklin Pierce (Fr., G, Holden, Mass.) - Made a
season-high 47 saves on 50 shots in the 3-3 overtime tie at Johnson
& Wales in their lone game of the week. Stopped 21 shots in a
first period which ended in a 1-1 tie. Two of the three goals
allowed came on power plays.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Mark Smith, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., F, Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) -
Totaled a goal and four assists in a 1-1 week. Handed out a pair of
assists in a 7-2 win over Framingham State, then notched a goal and
two assists in a setback to Nichols.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Adam Gaudreau, Assumption (Jr., F, Londonderry, N.H.) - In an
overtime game against Stonehill scored a goal and an assist.
Matt St. Pierre, Assumption (So., F, Alexandria, Va.) - In an
overtime game against Stonehill scored a goal and an assist.
Casey Goodell, Franklin Pierce (Jr., F, Rochester, N.H.) -
Collected a goal and assist for two points in the team’slone
game of the week, a 3-3 tie at Johnson & Wales. Assisted on the
opening goal, which knotted the score at 1-1, then scored the final
goal on the power play less than five minutes into the third
period.
Bill Harris, Stonehill (Fr., F, Weymouth, Mass.) - Scored the game
winning goal with just :46 seconds left in overtime to lift the
Skyhawks to a 4-3 OT win over Assumption. Also assisted on the game
tying goal late in the third period.
Andrew Diozzi , Stonehill (Fr., F, Belmont, Mass.) - Scored the
game tying goal with eight minutes left versus Assumption and
assisted on the game-winner with 46 seconds in overtime to give the
Skyhawks their first win of the season.
Paul Reissfelder, Stonehill (Sr., F, Plymouth, Mass.) - Had a goal
and an assist in 4-3 OT win over Assumption.
