Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Shanty Robinson, Saint Rose (Sr., F, Mount Vernon, N.Y.) – Averaged 26.5 points, eight rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals in a 2-0 week, while shooting 77.8 percent (21-for-27) from the floor. In an 84-82 victory at Southern Connecticut, poured in 30 points and hit the game-winner with one-tenth of a second remaining. Finished 11-for-12 from the field and knocked down 8-of-12 free throws in the contest. Registered a double-double with 23 points and 15 boards in the 82-77 victory over Saint Michael’s.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Thomas Baudinet, Saint Anselm (Fr., G, Watertown, Conn.) - Averaged 18 points, 2.5 rebounds, three assists and one steal in a 1-1 week. Shot 52 percent from the field and 72.7 percent from three-point land (8-for-11). Had 20 points on 4-of-5 shooting from three at Bryant before a 16-point, four-rebound game in a win at Pace.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Jeff Dosado, American International (Sr., G, Montreal, P.G.) - Averaged 16.5 points, six rebounds, 2.5 steals and two rebounds in a 2-0 week. Scored 20 points with seven assists, two steals and two boards in the 77-74 win over Merrimack and netted 13 points with five assists, three steals and two rebounds in a 70-59 win at Assumption.

Colson Senat, American International (Jr., F, Montreal, P.Q.) - Averaged 18 points and 8.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week. Scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a 77-74 win over Merrimack and netted 13 points with eight boards in a 70-59 win at Assumption.

Aikeem Vanderhorst, American International (So., F, Bay Shore, N.Y.) - Averaged 15.5 points and eight rebounds in a 2-0 week. Scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds in a 70-59 win at Assumption and netted 14 points with eight boards in a 77-74 win over Merrimack.

Lew Finnegan, Bentley (Jr., G, Lexington, Mass.) - Helped Bentley improve to 20-0 by averaging 20 points, five rebounds and one assist in wins over Merrimack (76-61) and Bryant (69-68). Shot 68 percent overall, including 78 percent on two-pointers, and made all three of his free throws. Had 23 points (10-15 fg, 1-3 3's, 2-2 ft) and nine rebounds at Merrimack, and 17 points (7-10 FG, 2-4 3FG, 1-1 FT) against Bryant.

Jason Westrol, Bentley (So., G, Brielle, N.J.) - Averaged 16.5 points, eight rebounds, four assists and 2.5 steals in a 2-0 week. Shot 55 percent from the field and connected on 83 percent from the free throw line (10-12). Finished the Merrimack game with 15 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and three assists. Scored 18 points (7-9 FG, 4-6 FT) and also had six rebounds and five assists against Bryant.

Cecil Gresham, Bryant (So., F, Bloomfield, Conn.) - Averaged 25 points per game and 5.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week. Shot 13-for-17 (76.5 percent) from the floor en route to a 36 point performance in a win over Saint Anselm. Made 8-of-12 three-pointers in the game and had seven rebounds and two blocks. Against Bentley, had 14 points, four rebounds, a block, one steal and made two three-point baskets. For the week, shot 58 percent from the floor and went 10-for-18 (56 percent) from three-point range.

Kinard Dozier, Franklin Pierce (Fr., G, Dedham, Mass.) - Scored 18 points, including a layup with four-seconds on the clock, to lift the Ravens to a 65-64 win at Pace in their lone contest of the week. Made 7-of-17 shots from the field, including 4-of-8 from three-point range, to go with six rebounds, four assists and four steals.

Timothy Munch, Franklin Pierce (Jr., G, Blauvelt, N.Y.) – Scored 24 points in a 65-64 victory at Pace, the team’s lone game of the week, while shooting 10-of-19 from the field. Also added five rebounds, an assist and a steal.

Laurence Ekperigin, Le Moyne (So., F, Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.) - In a 2-0 week, averaged 14.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Connected on 12-of-19 shots from the field. Recorded a double-double with a 17 point, 10 rebound performance in a win over Stonehill.

Gibraltar White, Pace (Sr., G, Gautier, Miss.) - Averaged 19 points, 1.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals in two games. Totaled 20 points three boards, and three assists against Franklin Pierce. Posted 18 points, four assists and two steals against Saint Anselm.

Ryan Williams, Pace (Sr., G, Centreville, Va.) - Averaged 21.5 points, four rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals in two games. Against Franklin Pierce, tallied 21 points, while chipping in three boards, two assists and one steal, while shooting 7-for-14 from the field and 4-for-9 from long range. Against Saint Anselm, scored 22 points, while totaling five rebounds, five assists and four steals.

Brian Monahan, Saint Michael's (Sr., F, Kinderhook, N.Y.) - Averaged 26.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in contests versus Le Moyne and Saint Rose. In an overtime loss to Le Moyne, scored 26 points while grabbing eight boards and dishing out two assists. Had 27 against Saint Rose to go along with two assists and two steals.

Steve Dagostino, Saint Rose (Sr., G, Schenectady, N.Y.) - Averaged 22.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week. Shot 41.7 percent from the field and buried 21-of-23 free throw attempts as well. Finished with 20 points on 6-of-10 shooting in an 84-82 victory at Southern Connecticut. Tossed in 25 points and added 10 assists in an 82-77 win at Saint Michael's. Additionally, connected on 14-of-14 free throw attempts in the contest.

Sam Carey, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., C, Manchester, N.H.) - Averaged 15 points and 7.5 rebounds while shooting 62.5-percent (10-16) from the floor in a 1-1 week. Registered a double-double (14 pts, 10 reb) in a win over UMass Lowell, then went 6-of-8 from the floor and totaled 16 points and seven boards against Assumption.

Weekly Notes:

BENTLEY: Has maintained the number one ranking since Nov. 27 (the second longest run over the last 12 years), reached the 20-win plateau for the fourth straight year while notching its 50th consecutive win over a Northeast Region opponent. The Falcons have also won 47 straight regular season games, 40 in a row against NE-10 teams, and 28 straight at home. Saturday marked the second straight year that Yusuf Abdul-Ali (Springfield, Mass.) has made a winning basket in the final two seconds against Bryant to preserve Bentley's perfect record. Bentley was 17-17 at the line at Merrimack, just missing the school record of 18-18.
