Weekly Notes:
BENTLEY: Bentley, which has won 21 straight home
games and its last 35 regular season games, remained number one in
the NABC Division II coaches poll. The Falcons, who led Division II
in scoring defense last year with a school record 57.5, have been
even stingier this year, limiting the opponents to 56.8 ppg thus
far this season. In two games last week, they yielded 45 points in
back-to-back games against Bryant and Stonehill.
MERRIMACK: Improved to 6-0 for the first time in school
history before losing in overtime to Assumption Thursday. They are
ranked nationally for the first time since the 2000-01 season.
SAINT ANSELM: After scoring 42
points versus Southern New Hampshire on Tuesday night, Chris
Vetrano sits just four points shy of 1,000 points for his
career.
