Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Kevin Hoagland, Bryant (Jr., A, Glastonbury, Conn.) - Scored nine goals and had one assist in two wins last week. Had four goals in the win against Assumption and added five goals in the win over Saint Anselm.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Doug McIver, Le Moyne (Jr., G, Altamont, N.Y.) - Earned two wins in goal for the Dolphins holding opponents to a 4.34 goals against average. In victories over Pace and Southern New Hampshire, recorded 12 saves against 32 shots (.600).

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Michael Balbuena, Merrimack (Fr., A, Falmouth, Mass.) - Netted four goals last week in wins over Franklin Pierce and Saint Michael’s. Also dished out a pair of assists.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Andy Curtis, Bentley (Jr., A, Chelmsford, Mass.) - Scored three goals and added an assist in the 18-4 win over American International. Also picked up three ground balls and caused two turnovers.

Andrew Hennessey, Bryant (So., M, Wading River, N.Y.) – In two victories last week, won 42-of-47 face-offs. Won all but two (17 of 19) face-offs in a win over Assumption and added a goal as well against the Greyhounds. Won 25-of-28face-offs against Saint Anselm and finished the week with 29 ground balls.

Brian Cost, Le Moyne (Sr., A, Syracuse, N.Y.) - In a 2-0 week, scored eight goals and recorded three assists. In a 16-3 victory over Pace, scored five goals and dished out two assists.

Mike McDonald, Le Moyne (Sr., A, Latham, N.Y.) – In a 2-0 week, scored five goals and recorded eight assists. Had four goals and recorded five assists in the win against Southern New Hampshire.

Greg Rogowski, Merrimack (Jr., A, Cohoes, N.Y.) - In a pair of wins last week versus Franklin Pierce and Saint Michael’s, scored six goals and contributed three assists.

Cory Spinale, Merrimack (So., G, Wakefield, Mass.) - Made 24 saves in two victories last week, while holding opponents to a 5.5 goal against average.

James Hammel, Pace (So., A, North Caldwell, N.J.) - Totaled five points (4G-1A) along with a man-up goal in a 1-1 week. Netted one goal against Le Moyne. Tallied three goals and one assist with a man-up tally in a win over Franklin Pierce.

Chris Murphy, Saint Anselm (Jr., A, Winchester, Mass.) - Had eight goals and two assists for 10 points last week, including one game-winning goal. The highlight of the week came in an overtime win at Southern New Hampshire, scoring seven goals, including the game-winning score just 18 seconds into the overtime period. Added a goal versus Franklin Pierce in the win.

Steve Trocki, Saint Anselm (Sr., M, Braintree, Mass.) - Had eight goals and one assist in a 2-1 week. Had a hat trick in an overtime win over Southern New Hampshire, followed by a three-goal, one-assist afternoon in a loss at Bryant. Ended the week with two goals in a win versus Franklin Pierce.

Greg Lazarus, Saint Michael's (Sr., A, Evanston, Ill.) - Scored four goals in the first quarter in the 16-5 win over American International. Also scored a first period goal in an 8-7 loss to Merrimack.

Mike Ball, Southern New Hampshire (So., A, Salem, N.H.) - Registered seven goals and an assist in two games last week. Registered four goals in a setback to Le Moyne and added three goals and an assist in an overtime loss to Saint Anselm.

LE MOYNE: Senior Mike McDonald became the 5th member of the 200 point club with a four goal / five assist effort against Southern New Hampshire on Saturday.
