Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Sam Lamptey, Saint Anselm (Sr., F, Worcester, Mass.) – In a 2-0 week, finished with three goals and two assists. Notched his first career hat trick with a three-goal, one-assist effort in a win over American International. Followed with assisting on the game's lone goal in a 1-0 win at Stonehill.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week

John Corridan, Saint Anselm (Jr., GK, Holliston, Mass.) – Posted a 2-0 record this past week, making two saves in a 4-1 win over American International and then posting a 1-0 shutout at Stonehill.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Vinny Papageorgiou, Franklin Pierce (Fr., GK, Wilmington, Mass.) - Averaged 4.5 saves per match, while posting a 0.50 goals against average and .900 save percentage in two matches last week. Made three saves to preserve a shutout of Assumption. Made six stops while yielding a goal at UMass Lowell.


Weekly Honor Roll:

Eric Heuze, Bentley (Fr., M, Geneva, Switzerland) - Scored his third goal of the season in 6-2 win over New Haven.

Mike Nikiforov, Bentley (So., GK, Framingham, Mass) - Went 1-0-1 this past week. Made 14 saves and had a 1.00 GAA. All 14 of his saves came in 0-0 draw with Stonehill.

Harris Smriko, Bentley (Jr., M, Ewing, N.J.) - Had a goal and an assist against New Haven. Assisted on the go-ahead goal to make score 2-1 in 41st minute, then scored two minutes later to make score 3-1.

Bisharra Ettienne, Franklin Pierce (Gr., D, Point Michel, Dominica) - Posted a goal and assist for three points in a 1-1 week. Also led the defense which conceded just one goal in 180 minutes for the week. Assisted on the match-winning goal and netted the second goal in the 4-0 win over Assumption.

Cole Larned, Franklin Pierce (Sr., M, Wilton, Conn.) - Totaled a goal and assist for three points in a 1-1 week. Netted the match-winning goal and assisted on the second marker in a 4-0 win over Assumption.

Angelo Reina, Le Moyne (So., F, Frankfurt, N.Y.) - Tallied four points on two goals in a 1-1 week. Recorded a pair of goals in the 4-0 win over New Haven.

Stephen Potcner, UMass Lowell (So., F, Wilmington, Mass.) – In two games last week, scored two goals, including the game-winner, in a 3-2 win over Saint Rose.

Wayne Sygrove, Merrimack (Sr., F, Yorkshire, England) - Tallied a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win over Southern Connecticut.

Jason Burnett, Saint Michael's (Jr., GK, South Burlington, Vt.) - Didn't allow a goal in 200 minutes while stopping four shots in a 1-0-1 week. Had one save in a 1-0 win versus Saint Rose, and added three saves (one in overtime) in a 0-0 tie with American International.

Rob Pierce, Saint Michael's (So., F, Charlotte, Vt.) - Scored the game-winning goal 27 seconds into the game in the 1-0 win versus Saint Rose.

Joe Hunt, Saint Rose (Sr., F, Herfordshire, England) - Tallied four points on two goals during an 0-2 week. Both markers came via a 3-2 setback at UMass Lowell as he opened the scoring in the 10th minute. Struck again just 26 seconds following the second half kickoff.

Sean Lambert, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., GK, Rehoboth, Mass.) - Did not allow a goal in two games last week. Went the first 76:14 in goal in a 3-0 win over Assumption and made a pair of saves. Was not forced to make a save and earned his seventh shutout of the season in a 3-0 win over Le Moyne.

Brian Guerrini, Stonehill (Jr., GK, Glastonbury, Conn.) - Made 16 saves and only gave up one goal in two matches, including 10 saves in a 0-0 double overtime draw with Bentley.

FRANKLIN PIERCE:
Sophomore midfielder Johan Torstensson (Falkoping, Sweden) was named the Jeff Burstein Man-of-the-Match for his efforts in Franklin Pierce's 1-0 setback at UMass Lowell on Wednesday by Ravens head coach Marco Koolman. The award is given to Franklin Pierce's top player in its annual regular season match with UMass Lowell in memory of the 1998 Walter Peterson Male Student-Athlete of the Year who perished in an automobile accident near his hometown of Beachwood, N.J., on July 26, 2001. The former Ravens goalkeeper and standout baseball player, inducted into Franklin Pierce's Athletics Hall of Fame in 2007, served as an assistant coach at UMass Lowell for two years after graduating from Franklin Pierce.

SAINT MICHAEL’S:
Sophomore Rob Pierce (Charlotte, Vt.) set a program record for quickest goal to start a game when he scored just 27 seconds into Tuesday's 1-0 win versus Saint Rose. The previous record was 31 seconds, by Jerrod Hall '06 versus Southern N.H. on Oct. 8, 2003.
