Four Northeast-10 Teams Selected to Men's Soccer NCAA Division II Championship

South Easton, Mass. - The NCAA Division II Men’s
Soccer Committee announced today
the field of 32 teams for the 2009 Division II Men’s Soccer
Championship. Four Northeast-10 schools will compete in this year's
championship including Franklin Pierce University, Le Moyne
College, Southern Connecticut State University and Southern New
Hampshire University.
Le Moyne, the top seed in the East Region, will serve as one of
the two host sites along with third seeded Southern New
Hampshire.
The 2009 NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Championship kicks off on
Thursday, November 12 as #3 Southern New Hampshire faces #6
Southern Connecticut at 5 p.m. in Manchester, N.H. The
following day in Syracuse, N.Y., fifth seeded Franklin Pierce will
take on fourth seeded Dominican College from the Central Atlantic
Collegiate Conference (CACC) at 1 p.m.
The winner of Southern New Hampshire/Southern Connecticut will
face #2 Wilmington University of the CACC on Saturday, November 14
at 1 p.m., while Le Moyne will take on the winner of the Franklin
Pierce/Dominican contest on Sunday, November 16 at 1 p.m.
