Jean Returns for Second Stint as Saint Michael's Men's Soccer Head Coach
After spending the last four years coaching at the University of Vermont, including the past three as associate head coach, former Saint Michael's College men's soccer head coach Wade Jean has been hired to once again guide the Purple Knight program, Director of Athletics Geri Knortz announced on Monday.

Franklin Pierce Names Ian Clerihew Men's Soccer Head Coach
Franklin Pierce University Vice President/Director of Athletics Bruce Kirsh announced on Monday that Ian Clerihew has been named the new head coach of the men's soccer program, and will begin his duties effective on April 9. Clerihew brings extensive collegiate coaching experience from the Division I, II and III levels, including serving as head coach at Mars Hill College in North Carolina during the past three seasons.

Craig Stewart Resigns as Franklin Pierce Men's Soccer Coach
Franklin Pierce University men's soccer head coach Craig Stewart has resigned from his duties at the school. He recently interviewed for the same position at Providence College, an NCAA Division I program which competes in the Big East Conference, and is expected to be named to that job in the near future.

Franklin Pierce Men's Soccer Honored with NSCAA Team Academic Award
The Franklin Pierce University men's soccer team was honored by the NSCAA last week as it picked up a Team Academic Award from the organization. To earn an NSCAA Team Academic Award, a college men's or women's soccer team must post a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Franklin Pierce's Stewart Named 2011NSCAA East Region Coach of the Year
Franklin Pierce University men's soccer head coach Craig Stewart was recently named the 2011 NSCAA/Mondo East Region Coach of the Year after he guided the Ravens to one of the best single seasons in program history. It marked the second-consecutive year Stewart earned the award from the national coaches association.

Merrimack to Honor Rename Soccer Field in Honor of Longtime Coaches
Merrimack College will honor longtime soccer coaches Tony Martone and Gabe Mejail on October 1, renaming Warrior Field in their honor. With a combined 58 years of coaching, Merrimack will rename the field Martone-Mejail Field in between soccer games in an on-field ceremony on October 1 at approximately 3 p.m.
