Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Antonio Recalde, Assumption (Jr., No. 1 Singles, Ciudad del Este, Paraguay) - Went a combined 10-0 in a 5-0 week. Four of his five No. 1 singles matches were by 6-0, 6-0 scores. Teamed with Matt Stopp to go 5-0 at No. 1 doubles.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Michael Mashkevich, Stonehill (Fr., No. 2 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, Framingham, MA) - Posted a 6-0 combined mark in singles and doubles play in a 3-0 week. Had three straight set singles victories in wins over Merrimack (6-3), LeMoyne (9-0) and Bryant (5-4). Also posted a key 9-8 win at number two doubles with Matt Grabala in a Bryant dual-match victory.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Jared Dorfman, Assumption (So., No. 3 Singles , Providence, RI) - Went a combined 10-0 in a 5-0 week. Two of his five No. 3 singles matches were by 6-0, 6-0 scores. Went 5-0 at No. 2 doubles with Dave Marshall (4-0) and Rich Leiberman (1-0).

Rich Leiberman, Assumption (Jr., No. 3 Doubles, East Haddam, CT) - Teamed with Tom Nowak to win all four No. 3 doubles matches and with Jared Dorfman to win at No. 2 doubles.

Dave Marshall, Assumption (Sr. , No. 4 Singles , Newington, CT) - Went a combined 7-1 in a 5-0 week. Recorded a golden set in his No. 4 singles match versus Saint Anselm. Teamed with Jared Dorfman to go 4-0 at No. 2 doubles.

Tom Nowak, Assumption (Fr., No. 5 Singles, Medfield, MA) - Went a combined 9-0 in a 5-0 week. Four of his five wins were at No. 5 singles. Teamed with Rich Leiberman to win all four No. 3 doubles matches.

Matt Stopp, Assumption (Sr., No. 2 Singles, Altoona, PA) - Went a combined 10-0 in a 5-0 week. Two of his five No. 2 singles matches were by 6-0, 6-0 scores. Teamed with Antonio Recalde to go 5-0 at No. 1 doubles.

Steve Tlumacki, Assumption (So., No. 6 Singles, Holliston, MA) - Went 4-0 at No. 6 singles and 1-0 at No. 5 singles in a 5-0 week.

Mike McCrillis, Bentley (Sr., No. 4 Singles, No. 3 Doubles, Kennebunkport, ME) - Went 3-1 this past week, winning a singles match against Assumption and capturing both singles and doubles matches against Franklin Pierce.

Paul Kosinski, Pace (Sr., No. 1 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, Staten Island, NY) - Against Merrimack, won at No. 1 singles 6-2, 6-4 and No. 2 doubles 8-5.

Adam Brezinsky, Saint Michael's (Fr., No. 5 Singles, No. 2 Doubles, South Hadley, MA) - Earned a 6-2, 6-1 singles victory, and an 8-0 doubles win, at Southern New Hampshire.

Pedro De Paula, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., No. 1 Singles/ No. 1 Doubles, Rolandia, Brazil) - Went 2-0 at No. 1 singles and 1-1 at No. 1 doubles in a 1-1 week.

Luis Ramirez, Southern New Hampshire (So., No. 2 Singles / No. 1 Doubles, San Cristobal, Venezuela) - Went 2-0 at No. 2 singles and 1-1 at No. 1 doubles during a 1-1 week.

Matt Grabala, Stonehill (Sr., No. 1 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, Bristol, CT) - Posted a 4-0 combined mark in singles and doubles play this past week. Had straight set singles victories in wins over LeMoyne (9-0) and Bryant (5-4).
