Steve Tlumacki, Assumption (So., No. 6 singles , Holliston, MA) - Went a combined 6-1 at the Brown Invitational. Finished with a 3-1 record at sixth flight singles and captured the fourth flight doubles title with teammate Tom Nowak, defeating three Division I teams.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Craig Lindaberry, Saint Michael's (Fr., No. 6 Singles, Washington, NJ) - Won two matches in straight sets, including a 6-0 and 6-2 win against Le Moyne. Posted a 6-2, 6-4 win over Bentley.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Tom Nowak, Assumption (Fr., No. 7 singles, Medfield, MA) - Went a combined 5-1 at the Brown Invitational. Finished with a 2-1 record to place fourth at seventh flight singles and captured the fourth flight double title with teammate Steve Tlumacki, defeating three Division I teams.
Antonio Recalde, Assumption (Jr., No. 1 singles, Ciudad del Este, Paraguay) - Went 3-1 at first flight singles at the Brown Invitational. Defeated players from Connecticut, Fairleigh-Dickinson, and Lafayette to claim ninth place in the flight.
Matt Stopp, Assumption (Sr., No. 2 singles, Altoona, PA) - Went 2-1 at second flight singles at the Brown Invitational. Defeated players from Rhode Island and Bucknell to claim fifth place in the flight.
Collin Vero-Cassavante, Assumption (Fr., No. 5 singles, Rutland, VT) - Went 3-1 to place second at fifth flight singles at the Brown Invitational.
Greg Avola, Bentley (Sr., No. 2 Singles, No. 1 Doubles , Framingham, MA) - Had a 3-1 overall record, teaming up to go 2-0 in top flight doubles and earning a 6-2, 6-2 singles victory at Saint Michael's.
Miles Holman, Bentley (So., No. 3 Singles, No. 3 Doubles, East Longmeadow, MA) - Went 3-1 overall, teaming up to go 2-0 in doubles and earning a 6-0, 6-0 victory in singles at Saint Michael's.
Greg Maloomian, Bentley (Sr., No. 1 Singles, No. 1 Doubles, Needham, MA) - Went 4-0 with two wins at top-flight singles and two wins at top-flight doubles against Brandeis and Saint Michael's.
Eddie Sepulveda, Bentley (Jr., No. 3 Doubles, Poughkeepsie, NY) - Teamed up to go 2-0 in doubles against Brandeis and Saint Michael's.
Zach Goodman, Bryant (Sr., No. 3 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, Amherst, MA) – In a 6-3 win over Merrimack, won 6-1 and 6-3 at No. 3 singles and added a win at No. 2 doubles respectively.
