Northeast-10 Player of the Week

John Seaward, Merrimack (Jr., No. 2 Singles/No.1 Doubles, Pomfret, Conn.) - Posted a 6-0 record this past week, recording three wins in both singles and doubles. Defeated American International, Stonehill and Saint Michael’s in second singles and first doubles.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Cristian Balestrieri , Bryant (Fr., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Mar Del Plata, Argentina) - Posted two victories at No. 1 singles last week, earning a straight-set win over Bentley and earned a three-set win against Mercy. Also earned wins at No. 1 doubles in both matches.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Tom Nowak, Bryant (So., No. 3 Singles, Medfield, Mass.) - Picked up two key victories this past week for the Bulldogs, defeating Bentley 6-0, 6-0 and had a three-set win against Mercy College. Was also victorious in two doubles matches.

Jason Allegretti , Stonehill ( Jr., No. 3 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, Lincoln, R.I.) - Completed a 4-0 week at third singles and second doubles. Finished the week by defeating Saint Michael's 6-2, 6-1, and winning at second doubles, 8-3.

Tim Fayed, Stonehill (Fr., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Glastonbury, Conn.) - Finished 1-1 this past week, falling, 7-5, 6-4 versus Merrimack. Also finished 1-1 at first doubles action.

William Herchel, Stonehill (Jr., No. 4 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, Hampden, Mass.) – Went 2-0 in singles action this past week and went 2-0 in doubles competition as well.

Mike Leone, Stonehill (So., No. 5 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, Cataumet, Mass.) - Had a 4-0 week (two wins at singles, two wins at doubles). Capped the week with a 6-2, 6-1 fifth singles win over Saint Michael's, and an 8-2 win at third doubles.

John McGaffigan, Stonehill (Sr., No. 6 Singles/No. 3 Doubles, Dedham, Mass.) - Finished this past week 4-0. Won two singles matches in straight sets and two doubles matches 8-1, 8-2.
