Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Jose Rodriguez, Bryant (Jr., No. 2 Singles/Doubles, Trujillo, Peru) – At the NCAA tournament last week, won at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles in the team’s win over Adelphi and followed with a win at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles in a 5-3 team loss to Bloomsburg in the second round.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Tim Fayed, Stonehill (Fr., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Glastonbury, Conn.) - Claimed two of the team’s three wins in the 5-3 first round loss to Queens. Earned a win at No. 1 doubles, 8-4, and No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-1.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Cristian Balestrieri, Bryant (Fr., No. 1, Mar Del Plata, Argentina) - Earned a win at No. 1 singles in leading Bryant to a first round win over Adelphi in the NCAA tournament.

Weekly Notes:

BRYANT: Bryant's Cristian Balestrieri was named the ITA East Rookie of the Year.

STONEHILL: The Skyhawks, who earned the program's highest NCAA Tournament seed (fourth in the east), finished with 18 wins, a new record in the College's 56-year history.
