Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Tim Fayed, Stonehill (So., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Glastonbury,
Conn.) - Went 2-0 in No. 1 singles on the week in the team’s
9-0 victories over American International and Pace, winning both
matches 6-0, 6-0. Also won 8-0 in one doubles match.
Northeast-10 Co-Freshmen of the Week
Jigar Gada, Bentley (Fr., No.1 Singles/Doubles, Mumbai, India) -
Went 2-0 in Bentley's match with American International this past
weekend. Teamed with Alec Spycher and posted an 8-2 win in number
one doubles. Then won 6-1, 6-1 in number one singles.
Brian Rice, Le Moyne (Fr., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Syracuse, N.Y.)
- Earned a 6-0, 6-1 victory at number one singles to lead Le Moyne
to a 9-0 team win over Saint Anselm. Teamed for an 8-2 win at
second doubles.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Sean Pahler, Merrimack (Fr., No. 6 Singles/No.3 Doubles, Rumson,
N.J.) - Went 3-1 in both singles and doubles this past week.
Adam Wilding, Merrimack (Sr., No. 2 Singles, /Doubles, Lewiston,
Maine) - Went 3-1 in both singles and doubles this past week,
leading the Warriors to a 2-2 record.
Mike Mashkevich, Stonehill (Jr., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles,
Framingham, Mass.) - Went 2-0 in singles play wining 6-0, 6-1 and
6-0, 6-2. Also won 8-0 in his only doubles match of the week.
