Northeast-10 Player and Freshman of the Week

Jigar Gada, Bentley (Fr., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Mumbai, India) - Went 3-1 this past week, winning both number one singles and doubles match against Franklin Pierce. Won his number one singles match in the team’s 8-1 win over Le Moyne, 6-1, 6-1.


Weekly Honor Roll:

Roland Oganyan, Franklin Pierce (Sr., No. 3 Singles, Watertown, Mass. ) - Notched the team’s lone point with a 4-6, 6-1, 10-3 victory at No. 3 singles against Bentley.

Brian Rice, Le Moyne (Fr., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Syracuse, N.Y.) - Went 3-1 in a 1-1 week. Picked up a win (6-0, 6-0) at No. 1 singles and a victory (8-3) at No. 1 doubles in the 8-1 win over Pace. Registered a win (8-2) at No. 1 doubles in the 8-1 loss to Bentley.

Rishi Rajpal, Merrimack (Fr., No 2 Singles/No. 3 Doubles, New Delhi, India) - In his first collegiate match, won at number two singles 6-4, 6-2 and number three doubles 8-3 against Southern New Hampshire.

John Seaward, Merrimack (Sr., No. 4 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Pomfret, Conn.) - Won his singles match 6-0, 6-1 over Southern New Hampshire and his doubles match 8-2.
