Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Kim Kalec, Le Moyne (Sr., C, Horseheads, NY) - Hit .391 (9-23) with a double and drove in two runs as Le Moyne rallied to win its third NCAA Northeast Regional Championship in four years. The starting catcher in all four of Le Moyne NCAA tournament appearances was named to the All-Tournament Team.
Northeast-10 Pitcher & Freshman of the Week
Sarah Reed, Le Moyne (Fr., P, DeWitt, NY) - Went 6-0 with a 0.48 ERA in 29 innings of action at the NCAA Northeast Regional to earn tournament Most Valuable Player honors. Was the winning pitcher in all six Le Moyne victories. Allowed just 10 hits, struck out 32 and walked only seven. Carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning of the championship game win over C.W. Post.
Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll:
Lindsay Spaziani, Le Moyne (So., OF, Horseheads, NY) - In a 6-1 week, hit a tournament-best two home runs as Le Moyne captured its third NCAA Northeast Regional in four seasons. Hit .200 (5-25), scored five runs. Hit the game-winning home run in the top of the 11th in the first championship game win over C.W. Post and belted a solo shot earlier in the day against Caldwell.
Jennifer Winters, Le Moyne (Jr., SS, Vestal, NY) - Hit .320 (8-25), scored five runs and doubled three times in a 6-1 week. Fielded all 18 chances cleanly, was named to the all-tournament team.

LE MOYNE: For the first time in program history, Le Moyne came out of the losers' bracket to capture its third NCAA Northeast Region championship in four seasons. The Dolphins won five consecutive games, including two straight over top-seed C.W. Post to advance to the NCAA Division II Championship in Salem, Va. Freshman pitcher Sarah Reed was named the regional MVP and SS Jennifer Winters, C Kim Kalec and CF Lindsay Spaziani joined her on the all-tournament team. Reed went 6-0 with a 0.48 ERA and 32 strikeouts in 29 innings. Three wins came in relief and three were complete game starts. The Dolphins will meet 53-0 Northern Kentucky on Thursday at 5 p.m?BRYANT: Bryant's Deidre Kittredge (Worcester, Mass.) concluded her career with a career .324 batting average, tying her for seventh all-time in school history. Her 165 career hits is a new school record, along with 46 career doubles and 95 career RBIs. She ranks second with 7 career home runs. Her 39 RBIs this season is a new school single season record. Lindsay Connor's (West Haven, Conn.) 69 hits this year ranks second all-time school single season history. Bryant set a new school record in 2005 for wins in a season with 29 and qualified for the school's second-straight NCAA tournament.
