Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Amanda Wilbur, Bryant (Sr., OF, Lakeville, MA) – Led the team to the finals of the NCAA Northeast Regional. Hit .316 with two HR and three RBI while playing perfect defense in center field. Also slugged.684 with 13 total bases and had a stolenbase. Named to the All-Region team.

Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Week

Janine Enos, Bryant (Jr., SP , Wareham, MA) - Started all six games in the NCAA Northeast Regionals, going 4-2 with a 1.94 earned run average. Struck out 28 in 36 innings. Named to the Tournament's All-Region team.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Katie Hebert, UMass Lowell (Fr., 3B, Lowell, MA) - Batted .333 (4-12) as UMass Lowell advanced to the semifinal of the NCAA Northeast Regional. Hit safely in all four games, including a double in a 3-0 win over Georgian Court.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Lindsay Connor, Bryant (Sr., OF, West Haven, CT) – Had an on-base percentage of .381 and played perfect defense in left field, finishing with a 1.000 fielding percentage. Named to the tournament's All-Region team.

Ashley Coon, Bryant (Fr., C, Fairless Hills, PA) – Hit .294 in the NCAA Tournament Regionals while playing excellent defense behind the plate. Finished with an RBI and two extra base hits.

Amanda Gagne, Bryant (Sr., DH, Wilbraham, MA) - Was named to the All-Region team of the NCAA Northeast Regionals. Was 3-for-4 in an opening round win over Dowling with a home run.

Kate Thomas, Bryant (So., OF, Bedford, NH) - Was second on the team with a .313 average and three RBI. Three of her five hits were for extra bases and finished with a .500 slugging percentage.

Melissa Hanafin, UMass Lowell (Sr., C, Burlington, MA) - Named to the All-Tournament Team at the NCAA Northeast Regional as she batted .300 and slugged .400 with two runs. Highlighted the tournament with a 2-for-3 effort with one run in a 4-1 win over Le Moyne. Also went 1-for-2 with an RBI double in a 3-0 win over Georgian Court.

Kristen Mahoney, UMass Lowell (Sr., SP, Burlington, MA) –Went 2-2, scattering 12 hits, five runs (three earned) and 12 walks with a 0.85 ERA in leading UMass Lowell to the semifinal round of the NCAA Tournament Northeast Regional. Forced batters into a .145 average. Highlighted the week with a 4-1 win over Le Moyne in which she allowed four hits, one earned run and three walks while striking out seven. Also in a 3-0 win over Georgian Court, surrendering two hits and two walks while striking out five.
