Weekly Notes:

BENTLEY: Bentley’s 9-7 record is its best after 16 games since the 1995 team also started at 9-7. Senior first baseman Leigh Cavanaugh (Cheshire, Conn.) became the 14th player in school history to reach the century mark in career hits. Junior Alex Hitchcock should join that group soon, needing only five more for 100.
