Northeast-10 Men’ s Swimming Athlete of the Week

Ricky Chidsey, Le Moyne (Sr., Liverpool, N.Y.) - Won a pair of individual and teamed for a relay win in the 145-116 win over Saint Rose. Placed first in the 100-yard backstroke (52.84) and 100-yard freestyle (47.72) and was a member of the victorious 200-yard medley relay team (1:38.26).

Northeast-10 Women’s Swimming Athlete of the Week

Nicole Murphy, Le Moyne (Jr., Camillus, N.Y.) - Won a pair of individual events and teamed for a relay win in the 160-127 win over Saint Rose. Placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:09.88) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:31.40) and was a member of the victorious 200-yard medley relay team (1:53.99).

Northeast-10 Men’s Diving Athlete of the Week

Jon Andrews, Bentley (So., Southbury, Conn.) - In a dual meet with Brandeis, broke a seven-year-old school record and met the NCAA Division II qualifying standard in the one-meter dive with a winning score of 295.43. Completed a sweep of the diving events with a score of 247.20 on the three-meter.

Northeast-10 Women’s Diving Athlete of the Week

Tierney Carey, Saint Michael's (Sr., Newtown, Conn.) - Won both one-meter diving events in a dual-meet victory at Norwich. Totaled a combined 302.50 points in the two events.

Northeast-10 Men’s Freshman of the Week

Ryan Brauer, Saint Rose (Fr., Clifton Park, N.Y.) - Won three events in a 145-116 setback at Le Moyne. Had a school record setting performances in the 200 butterfly and 400 individual medley with respective times of 1:56.75 and 4:08.66. Also touched first in the 100 fly in a time of 52.77.

Northeast-10 Women’s Freshman of the Week

Caitlin Peterson, Saint Rose (Fr., Sherrill, N.Y.) - Won three events in a 165-129 setback at Le Moyne. Touched first in the 100, 200 and 500-yard freestyle events. Swam the 100 in 55.95, the 200 in 2:00.08 and shaved nearly two seconds off her own school mark with a 5:19.06 clocking in the 500.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Willie Connolly, Bentley (Jr., Washington, Conn.) - Finished first in the 200 yard backstroke (2:01.44) during a dual meet with Brandeis. Also finished second in the 200 individual medley (2:06.45) and helped the Falcons’ 400 medley relay place second in 3:43.18.

Anne Kaduboski, Bentley (So., Dedham, Mass.) - In a dual meet with Brandeis, finished first in both the 1000 yard freestyle (11:04.45) and the 200 butterfly (2:11.95), and led off the Falcons’ winning 400 free relay team (3:56.84).

Emily Travers, Bentley (So., Brentwood, N.H.) - Against Brandeis, captured the three-meter diving with a score of 250.57 and was third in the one-meter (195.15).

Mike Christine, Le Moyne (Fr., Clifton Park, N.Y.) - Won an individual event and teamed for a relay win in the 145-116 win over Saint Rose. Placed first in the 50-yard freestyle (22.04) and was a member of the victorious 200-yard medley relay team (1:38.26).

Katie O’Donnell, Le Moyne (Fr., Delmar, N.Y.) - Won a pair of individual events and teamed for a relay win in the 160-127 win over Saint Rose. Placed first in the 200-yard backstroke (2:08.06) and 400-yard IM (4:38.81) and was a member of the victorious 200-yard medley relay team (1:53.99).

Austin Bell, Saint Michael's (Fr., Sun Valley, Calif.) - Earned a pair of individual victories, setting one program record, in a dual-meet win at Norwich. Won in both the 1,000-yard freestyle (program-best 10:40.38) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:09.22).

Jake Stamas, Saint Michael's (Jr., Andover, Mass.) - Won both one-meter diving events in a dual-meet victory at Norwich. Totaled a combined 299.45 points in the two events.

Rachel Stone, Saint Michael's (Fr., Reading, Mass.) - Earned two individual victories, and swam the anchor leg of a relay win, in a dual-meet victory at Norwich. Won in the 50-yard freestyle (28.36) and the 100-yard individual medley (1:10.09), and swam the last leg of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay (1:53.79).

Kristen Frost, Southern Connecticut (Jr., Madison, Conn.) - Won the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:09.23, took second in the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of 2:34.89 and finished first in the 400 yard IM with a time of 4:35.87 at the USMMA Invite.

Miguel Nesrala, Southern Connecticut (Fr., Santo Domingo, D.R.) - Finished first in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:48.05 and took second in the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:01.12 at the USMMA Invite.

Aaron Rocheleau, Southern Connecticut (So., Newington, Conn.) - Won two races at the USMMA Invite. Took first place in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:01.94 and later picked up his second victory in the 200 yard breaststroke, finishing the race with a time of 2:15.76. Also took second in the 100 yard freestyle.

Matthew Sorena, Southern Connecticut (Fr., Brookfield, Conn.) - Took home a first and third place finish at the USMMA Invite. Won the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:02.19 and swam the 200 yard breaststroke in 2:28.04.

Maria Zenoni, Southern Connecticut (Sr., Santo Domingo, D.R.) - Finished first in the 500 yard freestyle, completing the race in 5:26.73. She also took home the bronze in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:19.53 this past weekend.

Weekly Notes:

SAINT ROSE: The Golden Knights registered five school records in a dual meet at Le Moyne on Saturday. School marks were broke in the 500-yard freestyle by freshman Caitlin Peterson (5:19.06), the 200 butterfly (1:56.75) and 400 individual medley (4:08.66) by freshman Ryan Brauer, the 100 breaststroke by freshman Hilary Stanmyer (59.73) and the one-meter diving by senior Jamie Hopper (195.70 points; 11 dives).
