Northeast-10 Men’s Track Athlete of the Week

Hafiz Greigre, Bryant (Sr., Attleboro, MA) - In the men's 60-meter dash at the Harvard Invitational, finished second in the finals in 6.94 seconds. Also finished first in the men's 200- meters in 21.97 seconds.


Northeast-10 Women’s Track Athlete of the Week

Melissa Nash, Bentley (So., Marshfield, MA) - Finished first in the 5,000-meters at the Harvard Invitational, in a time of 18:13.33. Won the race by nearly eight seconds.


Northeast-10 Men’s Track Freshman of the Week

Devin Belanger, Southern Connecticut (Fr., Biddeford, ME) - At the Yale Lidlifter Invitational, won the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.22 seconds.


Northeast-10 Women’s Track Freshman of the Week

Haley Catarius, UMass Lowell (Fr., Marshfield, MA) – Finished fifth in the 500-meters with a time of 1:17.97 at the Harvard Invitational, placing fifth overall and first among Division II-III runners. Also ran a 59.1-second leg on the 4X400 meter relay team, which took second behind Boston College in 3:57.11.


Northeast-10 Men’s Field Athlete of the Week

Chris Watson, Southern Connecticut (Jr., Manchester, CT) - At the Yale Lidlifter Invitational, won the triple jump with a leap of 45 feet, 9.5 inches


Northeast-10 Women’s Field Athlete of the Week

Merlene "Stacey" Egbert , Southern Connecticut (Sr., Danbury, CT) - At the Yale Lidlifter Invitational, won the long jump (18-6) and the triple jump (37-11.25) while finishing second in the high jump (5-1).


Northeast-10 Men’s Field Freshman of the Week

Matt Cyr, Bryant (Fr., Lewiston, ME) - In the men's pole vault at the Harvard Invitational, cleared 13 feet, 6 inches, finishing eighth overall.


Northeast-10 Women’s Field Freshman of the Week

Jacqui Barrett, UMass Lowell (Fr., Woburn, MA) - Won the shot put at the Harvard Invitational with a throw of 41' 6.0''

Weekly Honor Roll:

Barbara Powell, Bentley (Fr., Granby, MA) - Finished seventh in the 800-meters at the Harvard Invitational with a time of 2:21.57.

Stephan Ramirez, Bentley (Jr., San Antonio, TX) -Finished third in the mile at the Harvard Invitational after leading until the final 20 meters. Posted a time of 4:22.45.

Haley Catarius, UMass Lowell (Fr., Marshfield, MA) – Finished with a time of 1:17.97 in the 500-meters at the Harvard Invitational, placing fifth overall and first among Division II-III runners. Also ran a 59.1-second leg on the 4X400 meter relay team which took second behind Boston College in 3:57.11.

Erick Colon, UMass Lowell (Sr., Methuen, MA) - Top Division II-III runner (second overall) in the 500 meters with a time of 1:05.18.

Toni-Marie Henry, UMass Lowell (Sr., Springfield, MA) - Top collegiate finisher in the triple jump (second overall) at the Harvard Invitational with a distance of 38' 9.5''. Also ran a 58.2-second leg on the 4X400 meter relay, which placed second (3:57.11) behind only Boston College (3:54.78).

Rocky LeFort, UMass Lowell (Jr., Nashua, NH) - Placed fourth overall and second among Division II-III throwers in the shot put with a distance of 48' 1.75'' at the Harvard Invitational.

Mike Malinowski, UMass Lowell (Fr., Peabody, MA) - Top Division II-III runner in the 800-meters at the Harvard Invitational (seventh overall) with a time of 1:57.61.

Courtney Trainor, UMass Lowell (Gr., Braintree, MA) - Placed second overall and tops among collegiate runners in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.08 seconds. Also ran a 58.4-second leg on the 4X400 meter relay team which placed second (3:57.11) behind Boston College; and placed sixth overall and second among Division II-III throwers in the shot put with a throw of 36' 0.25''.

Terry Young, UMass Lowell (Jr., Mansfield, MA) - Won the long jump with a leap of 22' 5.25'' and placed fourth overall (second among Division II-III athletes) in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.51 seconds at the Harvard Invitational.

Katherine Reynolds, Southern Connecticut (Jr., Hamden, CT) - At the Yale Lidlifter Invitational, won the weight throw (52-0) and the shot put (41-8.75).

Dana Burbank, Stonehill (Sr., North Andover, MA) - Placed sixth in the 60-meter hurdles at the Harvard Invitational, posting a time of 8.66 seconds.

Dana DeIngenis, Stonehill (Sr., Cranston, RI) - Placed fifth in the mile for at the Harvard Invitational with a time of 5:12.94.

Bridget DeVincent, Stonehill (Fr., Attleboro, MA) - Placed sixth in mile at the Harvard Invitational, posting a time of 5:17.40.
