Northeast-10 Men’s Track Athlete of the Week

Hafiz Greigre, Bryant (Jr., Attleboro, MA) - Won the 100-meter (10.88) and 200-meter (21.85) events at the RIC Invitational.

Northeast-10 Women’s Track Athlete of the Week

Natasha Stevenson, Bryant (Sr., Haverhill, MA) - Took first place honors in the 100-meter (13.14) and the 200-meter (26.51) at the RIC Invitational.

Northeast-10 Men’s Track Freshman of the Week

Dan Darcy, Bentley (Fr., Sharon, MA) - Finished first in the 800-meters at the Tufts Snowflake Classic. Also placed third in the 1500 with a time of 4:06.79.

Northeast-10 Women’s Track Freshman of the Week

Liana Greig, Bryant (Fr., York, ME) - Captured the 400-meter hurdles in 1:10.87 and took second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.93 at the RIC Invitational

Northeast-10 Men’s Field Athlete of the Week

Joe Kowalczyk, Assumption (Gr., Wilbraham, MA) - Won the shot put with a distance of 45 feet, 9 inches and the discus with a distance of 141 feet at the Rhode Island College Invitational.

Northeast-10 Women’s Field Athlete of the Week

Stacy Egbert, Southern Connecticut (Sr., Danbury, CT) - Took first in the high jump at the SCSU Invitational with a height of five feet, three inches. Also finished first in the javelin, with a throw of 116 feet even.

Northeast-10 Men’s Field Freshman of the Week

Tom Kilby, Stonehill (Fr., Fall River, MA) - Placed fourth in the javelin (49.45 meters) at the SCSU Invitational.

Northeast-10 Women’s Field Freshman of the Week

Olivia Thibou, UMass Lowell (Fr., Boston, MA) - Won the triple jump at the Trinity College Bantam Invitational with a distance of 33' 10.0 . Also placed third in the long jump with a leap of 15' 6.0 .

Weekly Honor Roll:

Molly O’Connell, Assumption (So., Sandy, UT) - Won the shot put with a distance of 38 feet, 10 inches at the Rhode Island College Invitational.

Brooke Perron, Assumption (Jr., Hubbardston, MA) - Finished first in the 800-meter race with a winning time of 2:23.78 at the Rhode Island College Invitational.

Jessica Cegarra, Bryant (Sr., Danville, NH) - Won the discus throw at the RIC Invite with a throw of 34.56 meters. Place second in the shotput with a throw of 11.55 meters.

Rob Schneider, Bryant (So., North Cornwall, CT) - Captured the pole vault event at the RIC Invitational.

Jacqui Barrett, UMass Lowell (Fr., Woburn, MA) - Won the shot put at the Trinity College Bantam Invitational with a distance of 40' 11.0

Donte Brown, UMass Lowell (Fr., Raynham, MA) - Won the 100-meter high hurdles at the Trinity College Bantam Invitational with a time of 15.22 seconds.

Haley Catarius, UMass Lowell (Fr., Marshfield, MA) - Won the 400-meter hurdles at the Trinity College Bantam Invitational with a time of 64.60.

Erin Doherty, UMass Lowell (Sr., Lawrence, MA) - Won the 400-meter dash at the Trinity College Bantam Invitational in 60.76 seconds. Also ran a 61.1-second split on the 4X400 meter relay team, which placed second in 4:12.86.

Courtney Lincoln, UMass Lowell (Fr., Mansfield, MA) - Won the long jump at the Trinity College Bantam Invitational with a leap of 15' 10.5 .

Terry Young, UMass Lowell (Jr., Mansfield, MA) - Won the 400-meter hurdles at the Trinity College Bantam Invitational in 56.03 seconds.

Brad Lewis, Saint Rose (Jr., Troy, NY) - Won the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:06.15 to help lead the team to a third place finish at the RPI Invitational.

Mike Cebula, Southern Connecticut (Sr., White Plains, NY) - Took first in the mile run at the SCSU Invitational. Finished the race in 3:56.15, nearly three seconds better than the second place finisher and head of 15 Division I runners.

Katherine Reynolds, Southern Connecticut (Jr., Hamden, CT) - Took first in the hammer throw at the SCSU Invitational with a throw of 167 feet even. Also finished third in the shot put with a distance of 43 feet, 8 inches.

Kevin Taylor, Southern Connecticut (Jr., Briston, CT) - Took top honors in the long jump at the SCSU Invitational with a jump of 23 feet, .75 inches.

Sutton Underwood, Southern Connecticut (So., Norwalk, CT) - Took first in the pole vault at the SCSU Invitational with a height of 14 feet, 1.25 inches.

Al Williams, Southern Connecticut (Sr., Meriden, CT) - Took first in the triple jump at the SCSU Invitational with a jump of 46 feet, 2.75 inches. Also finished third in the high jump with height of six feet, 3.25 inches.

Symone Wong, Southern Connecticut (So., Laurelton, NY) - Finished first in the 200-meter dash at the SCSU Invitational with a time of 26.04. Also finished third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 59.38.

Dana DeIngenis, Stonehill (Sr., Cranston, RI) - Posted a first place performance in the 1,500-meters (4:39.67) at the SCSU Invitational.

Torrey Price, Stonehill (So., Sleepy Hollow, NY) - Placed first in the 100-meters (11.17) and third in the 200-meters (22.87) at the SCSU Invitational.

Vinnie Williams, Stonehill (Sr., Springfield, MA) - Placed first in the 200-meters (22.51) and third in the 100-meters (11.27) at the SCSU Invitational.

Weekly Notes:

PACE: Freshman Sam Asbeck broke the school long jump record at the Wagner Invitational with a jump of 19'4" - 6.11 meters. Freshman Safia McNeishie broke the school long jump record with a jump of 14'11" - 4.55 meters. Hannah Sheppard tied the school long jump record with a jump of 14'6" - 4.44m. In the 4X100 Relay, Ruben Pagan, Larry Deprimo, Brandon Rush, Giovanni Gallaread ran a 44.92, nearly eclipsing the old school record of 44.81.
