Northeast-10 Men’s Track Athlete of the Week
Andrew Grange, UMass-Lowell (Jr., Methuen, Mass.) - Won the 400
meter dash and qualified for the NCAA Championship as UMass Lowell
placed second at the Tufts Indoor Invitational. Posted a time of
48.79 seconds to rank fourth in Division II.
Northeast-10 Women’s Track Athlete of the Week
Melissa Nash, Bentley (Jr., Marshfield, Mass.) - Finished fourth in
the 3,000 meters at the Greater Boston Track Club Invitational,
with a time of 10:30.0.
Northeast-10 Men’s Track Freshman of the Week
Nana Ocran, Southern Connecticut (Fr., Manchester, Conn.) - Won the
55 meter dash with a time of 6.37 seconds at the Sorlein
Invitational. Was also a member of the 4x400 meter relay team that
placed in second with a time of 3:22.59. Also placed fourth in the
200 meter dash with a time of 22.75 seconds.
Northeast-10 Women’s Track Freshman of the Week
Lyra Clark, UMass Lowell (Fr., Nashua, N.H.) - Won the 1,000 meters
and led the 4X400 meter relay team to first place as UMass Lowell
won the Tufts Indoor Invitational. Posted a time of 3:03.61 in the
1,000 and ran a 62.02-second leg in the 4X400 as the team finished
in 4:08.37.
Northeast-10 Men’s Field Athlete of the Week
Robert Keizer, Southern Connecticut (Sr., Great Neck, N.Y.) - Won
the triple jump with a jump of 14.87 meters at the Sorlein
Invitational.
Northeast-10 Women’s Field Athlete of the Week
Olivia Thibou, UMass Lowell (So., Boston, Mass.) - Won the triple
jump and placed third in the long jump as UMass Lowell won the
Tufts Indoor Invitational. Leaped to 36' 8.25'' and recorded a
distance of 16' 6.0'' in the long jump as UMass Lowell captured the
team title.

Northeast-10 Women’s Field Freshman of the Week
Alison Vogelien, Saint Rose (Fr., Voorheesville, N.Y.) -
Contributed a first and third place finish at the Williams
Invitational. Leapt 30 feet, 2.75 inches in the triple jump for
first place in the event. Also took third in the high jump with a
mark of 4 feet, 7.75 inches.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Sean Burbank, Bentley (Gr., Mystic, Conn.) - Finished first in the
high jump at the Greater Boston Track Club Invitational, with a
height of six feet.
Rebecca Ciccarelli, Bentley (Sr., Natick, Mass.) – Ran the
400 meters in 61.06 seconds, good for a fifth place finish (of 20)
at the Greater Boston Track Club Invitational. Also helped the
Falcons finish second of nine in the 4x200 relay (1:52.47).
Dan Darcy, Bentley (So., Sharon, Mass.) - Finished first in the
invitational 800 at the Greater Boston Track Club Invitational,
with a time of 1:54.06.
Jacqui Barrett, UMass Lowell (So., Woburn, Mass.) - Won the shot
put at the Tufts Indoor Invitational with a throw of 41' 10.75'',
helped UMass Lowell to the team title.
Haley Catarius, UMass Lowell (So., Marshfield, Mass.) - Won the 600
meters at the Tufts Indoor Invitational in 1:38.29. Helped lead
UMass Lowell to the team championship.
Stephen DeWitt, UMass Lowell (Gr., Ellsworth, Maine) - Won the
3,000 meters title and posted the fastest time in New England - all
divisions - with a time of 8:18.99.
Chris Forbes, UMass Lowell (Fr., Methuen, Mass.) - Won the 1,000
meters at the Tufts Indoor Invitational with a time of 2:34.65.
Sean Gelinas, UMass Lowell (Fr., Northwood, N.H.) - Won the mile at
the Tufts Indoor Invitational with a time of 4:31.29.
Gillian Mundry, UMass Lowell (Sr., Methuen, Mass.) - Captured the
long jump at the Tufts Indoor Invitational with a distance of 16'
9.25''.
Cory Murray, UMass Lowell (Fr., Methuen, Mass.) - Captured the shot
put title at the Tufts Indoor Invitational with a distance of 50'
10.75''.
Johan Rafael, UMass Lowell (Fr., Lawrence, Mass.) - Won the 200
meter dash and helped the UMass Lowell 4X200 meter relay team place
second at the Tufts Indoor Invitational. Posted a time of 23.16
seconds in the 200 and ran a 22.67-second leg as the 4X200 team
finished in 1:33.15 behind Division I St. Francis (NY).
Kevin Jackson, Saint Rose (Jr., Schenectady, N.Y.) Recorded three
first place finishes and a third place effort at the Williams
Invitational. Captured the 55-meter dash 6.67 seconds and ran 7.98
in the 55m hurdles. Also won the long jump with a leap of 21 feet
and was third in the 200m in 23.73.
Keith Gill, Stonehill (Sr., Brockton, Mass.) - Took the top spot in
the Men’s 1000 Meter Run at the Sorlein Track Invitational.
Finished with a time of 2:25.01.
Torrey Price, Stonehill (Jr., Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.) - Took fourth
place at the Sorlein Track Invitational with a 6.52 time in the 55
meter dash.
McNeil Johnson, Southern Connecticut (Jr., East Hartford, Conn.) -
Won the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 7.69 seconds at the Sorlein
Invitational. Was also a member of the 4x400 meter relay team that
placed in second in with a time of 3:22.59.
Kevin Taylor, Southern Connecticut (Sr., Bristol, Conn.) - Won the
long jump with a jump of 7.12 meters at the Sorlein
Invitational.
Weekly Notes:
SAINT ROSE: The Golden Knights established 10 school
records at the Williams Invitational on Saturday. On the men's
side, Saint Rose set marks in the 55-meter dash (6.67), 55m hurdles
(7.98), 3,000m (8:59.39), 600m (1:25.74), 300m (39.57), 4x440 relay
(3:41.79) and the 4x880 relay (9:00.28). On the women's side, new
marks were established in the 55m hurdles (9.42), 600m (1:51.86)
and the 4x880 relay (11:03.58).
