Northeast-10 Men’s Track Athlete of the Week
Rex Radloff, UMass Lowell (Sr., Dedham, Mass.) - Won the 5,000 meters at the New England Championship in 14:35.60 and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championship. Also earned All-New England honors in the 1,500 meters, placing seventh in 3:53.12 and provisionally qualifying for the NCAAs.

Northeast-10 Women’s Track Athlete of the Week
Shannon Gagne, New Haven (Jr., Meriden, Conn.) - Won the 200-meter dash at the All-New England Championships and broke the school record with a time of 24.23 seconds, placing her 13th in the nation this season. Also finished in fourth place in the 100-meter dash, tying her record of 11.96 seconds.

Northeast-10 Men’s Track Freshman of the Week
Jeff Wundt, UMass Lowell (Fr., Southwick, Mass.) - Member of the 4X400 meter relay team which captured its second New England Championship of the year in 3:10.90. Ran a 47.9-second leg and also helped UMass Lowell automatically qualify for the NCAA Championship with the 10th-fastest time in the country.

Northeast-10 Men’s Field Athlete of the Week
Diwani Augustine, Southern Connecticut (Jr., East Hartford, Conn.) - Placed third in the triple jump with a leap of 14.12 meters and finished eighth in the long jump with a jump of 6.77 meters at the New England Championships.

Northeast-10 Co-Women’s Field Athlete of the Week
Lauren Raimondi, UMass Lowell (So., East Longmeadow, Mass.) - Won the high jump and placed second in the 100 meter hurdles at the New England Championship. Cleared 5' 4.5'' in the high jump and also ran the 100 meter hurdles in 14.37 seconds to provisionally qualify for the NCAA Championship.

Yvonne Perkins, Southern Connecticut (Sr., Danbury, Conn.) - Won the shot put with a heave of 14.42 meters and placed second in the discus throw with a toss of 43.48 meters at the New England Championships.

Northeast-10 Women’s Field Freshman of the Week
Samantha Spindel, Southern Connecticut (Fr., Brewster, N.Y.) - Took 14th in the discus throw with a toss of 36.13 meters at the New England Championships.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Melissa Nash, Bentley (Sr., Marshfield, Mass.) - Earned All-New England honors for the third time by finishing fifth in the 5,000 meters at the New England Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships, posting a time of 17:43.23.

Matt Blazon, UMass Lowell (Jr., Lowell, Mass.) - Placed fourth in the 400 meter hurdles at the New England Championship in 54.50 seconds to earn All-New England honors.

Patricia Brice, UMass Lowell (So., Chelmsford, Mass.) - Earned All-New England honors in the 800 meters as well as the 4X800 meter relay at the New England Championship. Placed seventh in the 800 meters and improved her place on the NCAA Division II list with a time of 2:13.69. Also ran a 2:15.8 leg on UMass Lowell's 4X800 meter relay team which placed third (first among Division II foursomes) and set a school record with a time of 9:09.88.

Christina DaLomba, UMass Lowell (Sr., Marstons Mills, Mass.) - Earned All-New England honors in the 1,500 meters and 4X800 meter relay, achieved schools records in both and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championship in the 1,500. Placed eighth overall (second among Division II-III runners) in the 1,500 in 4:32.93 and edged the school record by nearly four seconds. Also ran a 2:13.9 leg in the 4X800 relay which placed third in 9:09.88.

Tim Guerin, UMass Lowell (Jr., Auburn, Mass.) - Placed fourth overall and second among Division II-III runners in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the New England Championship. Posted a time of 9:23.91.

Cory Murray, UMass Lowell (So., Methuen, Mass.) - Placed fifth overall and first among Division II and III throwers in the shot put at the New England Championship. Threw for a distance of 49' 4.5''.

Laura Brustolon, Southern Connecticut (Jr., Mystic, Conn.) - Finished second in the 5000 meter run with a time of 17:23.16 at the New England Championships. Broke her own school record by 4.11 seconds and earned All-New England honors for her performance.

Jared Dixon, Southern Connecticut (So., Middle Village, N.Y.) - Placed sixth in the high jump with a leap of 1.95 meters at the New England Championships.

Sasha Mathelier, Southern Connecticut (Sr., Freeport, N.Y.) - Placed fourth overall in the pole vault with a mark of 3.65 meters at the New England Championships and earned All-New England honors.

Sutton Underwood, Southern Connecticut (Sr., Norwalk, Conn.) - Placed fourth in the pole vault with a mark of 4.80 meters at the New England Championships.

Jeffrey Wilkins, Southern Connecticut (Fr., New Haven, Conn.) - Placed seventh in the 100 meter dash in 11.00 seconds at the New England Championships.

Jenny Gardynski, Stonehill (Sr., Everett, Mass.) - Qualified for the NCAA Championships with a fifth-place finish in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 10:53.24, shattering her own old school record by nearly 30 seconds.

Dan Pilz, Stonehill (So., Newington, Conn.) - Earned All-New England honors with a sixth place finish in the 3000 meter steeplechase, turning in a time of 9:28.64.

Torrey Price, Stonehill (Sr., Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.) - Earned All-New England honors by setting breaking his own school record in the 200 meters with a time of 21.46. Then finished third in the 100 meters with a time of 10.68.
