Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Julie Handy, UMass Lowell (Sr., OH, Yorba Linda, CA) - Registered 6.14 kills, 4.71 digs and 1.00 blocks in a 2-0 week. Opened the week with a season-high 28 kills, 18 digs and five blocks in a 3-1 win over Franklin

Pierce. Followed with 15 kills, 15 digs and two blocks in a 3-0 victory over Southern Connecticut.

Northeast-10 Setter of the Week

Caitlin Harte, UMass Lowell (Jr., S, East Rochester, NH) - Compiled 88 assists (12.57) and 22 digs (3.14) in wins over Franklin Pierce (3-1) and Southern Connecticut (3-0). Dished out a season-high 56 assists along with 16 digs in the win over Franklin Pierce and followed with 32 assists and six digs in the win over Southern Connecticut.

Northeast-10 Libero of the Week

Katie Markstein, Bentley (Sr., L, La Jolla, CA) - Earned All-Tournament honors after averaging 7.75 digs and 0.50 aces during the Bentley Fall Classic. Only had seven receive errors in 143 attempts, a 95 percent success rate. Had a career-high 38 digs in a 3-1 win over Adelphi, and 35 digs in a five-game loss to West Chester.

Northeast-10 Freshmen of the Week

Danielle Furka, Pace (Fr., OH, Massapequa, NY) - Averaged 4.0 kills and 3.73 digs in 11 games played over three matches. Against Bentley, totaled 12 kills and 15 digs, while against Franklin Pierce, finished with 18 kills and 23 digs.

Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll:

Becca Rector, Bentley (Fr., RS, Greenwood Village, CO) - Hit .286 and averaged 2.75 kills, 1.5 digs and 0.69 blocks while helping the Falcons to a 3-1 record in the Bentley Fall Classic. Highs of 14 kills and 10 digs versus West Chester, four blocks against Pace and a .417 hitting percentage against Queens.

Christina Sadowski, Bentley (So., MH, Salem, NH) - Was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Bentley Fall Classic after averaging 2.69 kills, 0.88 blocks and 0.31 aces, and hitting .305. Hit .519 (15-1-27) in a 3-1 win over Adelphi and .409 (11-2-22) in a sweep of Pace. Also had four kills in the Adelphi match and five against West Chester. Had 20 points in the Adelphi match tying the Bentley season high.

Jessica Cegarra, Bryant (Jr., OH, Danville, NH) - Averaged 3.43 kills per game and 1.36 blocks per game for the Bulldogs this past week. Had 16 kills and hit .433 in a win over Millersville on Saturday. In the match with Millersville, had a career-high 11 blocks (2 solo) and finished with 19 blocks in four matches for the week. With 16 kills versus Millersville, went over the 1,000 career kill mark. Had 13 kills against Dowling and added seven kills in a win over Saint Michael's.

Tiffany Garry, Bryant (So., S, Frankfort, IL) - Averaged 11.29 assists per game as Bryant posted a 3-1 record. Had 43 assists plus six kills in a 3-1 win over Millersville and had 42 kills in a match with Dowling. For the week, had 11 service aces with five against Southern N.H. and five against Saint Michael's.

Jessica Ward, Franklin Pierce (Sr., OH, Clinton, CT) - In a 1-4 week for Franklin Pierce, contributed 13 kills, 14 digs and 3 aces in a match versus Pace University. Against Southern N.H., compiled a team high 18 kills. On the season, is averaging 1.44 kills per game, as well as 1.58 digs per game.

Lindsey Fattey, Le Moyne (Sr., OH, Lancaster, NY) - Averaged 3.69 kills, 2.77 digs and 0.46 blocks in a 3-1 week. Landed a team-high 18 kills in a 3-0 win over American International and contributed 12 digs in a 3-0 win over Assumption.

Julie McLaud, Le Moyne (Jr., S, Pine Bush, NY) - Averaged 11.69 assists, 1.85 digs and 0.46 service aces in a 3-1 week. Had 46 assists in a four-game setback at Cortland and 39 in a sweep of Assumption.

Lindsay Larson, Merrimack (Sr., OH, Mission Viejo, CA) - Posted 49 kills in four matches last week (12.3 kpm) to help Merrimack to a 2-2 record. Began the week with 10 kills against American International, then posted 14 two nights later in a 3-0 win over Southern Connecticut. Notched five kills and 22 digs against Adelphi and later posted 20 kills and 22 digs in a 3-1 loss to Queens. Leads the team with 192 kills and 187 digs.

Ashley D'Agostini, Pace (So., S, San Diego, CA) - Averaged 9.82 assists and 3.91 digs in 11 games played over three matches. Against Adelphi, finished with 28 assists while against Bentley, finished with 27. Against Franklin Pierce, totaled 53 assists and 29 digs.

Alana McNeil, Saint Anselm (So., MH, Lawrence, MA) - Averaged 4.07 kills/game this week. Against Stonehill, tallied 20 kills.

Shannon Campbell, Saint Rose (Jr., S, Charlton, NY) - Averaged 10.82 assists, 1.18 aces and 1.18 digs during a 3-0 week. Had 52 assists to go along with six digs and six aces in a 3-2 win against Mercy. Had 27 assists, five aces and four digs in a sweep of Assumption. Finished with a three-game, season-high 40 assists to go along with three digs, three blocks and two aces in a 3-0 win versus American International.

Jessica Carrington, Saint Rose (Jr., OH, New Freedom, PA) - Averaged 2.64 kills, 1.18 aces, 1.91 digs and 0.36 blocks during a 3-0 week. Had 19 kills and 10 digs to go along with seven aces and a block in a 3-2 win against Mercy. Had four kills, a pair of aces, four digs and two blocks in a sweep of Assumption.

Finished with six kills, four aces, seven digs and a block in a 3-0 win versus American International.

Brittany Porter, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., MH, Riverton, WY) - Averaged 4.08 kills and posted a .352 (49-12-105) hitting percentage during a 1-2 week. Totaled a season-high 27 kills in a 3-2 win over Franklin Pierce. Became the first player in program history to record 1,000 career kills.

Doree Blanco, Stonehill (So., OH, Warwick, RI) - Registered 26 kills (3.71 pg), 21 digs (3.00 pg), five service aces (0.71 pg) and four solo blocks (0.57 pg) in 2-0 week, including 15 kills, 10 digs, three aces and two blocks in 3-1 win over Saint Anselm and 11 kills, 11 digs, two aces and two blocks in 3-0 win over Saint Michael's. Posted .321 attack percentage for week and became fourth player in school history to eclipse 1,000 career kill plateau.

Liane Kilmain, Stonehill (Sr., S, Mattapoisett, MA) - Recorded 78 set assists (11.14 pg) and 10 service aces (1.43 pg) in 2-0 week for Skyhawks, including 48 set assists and four aces in 3-1 win over Saint Anselm and 30 set assists and six aces in 3-0 win over Saint Michael's.

Saint Rose Saint Rose has hit .300 or better throughout four of its last six matches?After playing only two of their first 13 matches at home, the Golden Knights will play six of their final 12 dates in Albany?The club is listed among the nation?s top-30 teams in hitting percentage, aces and blocks? Bentley Sophomore middle hitter Christina Sadowski (Salem, N.H.) and senior libero Katie Markstein (La Jolla, Calif.) were named to the All-Tournament Team at the Bentley Fall Classic. Despite losing to West Chester in five games on Saturday, the Falcons defeated Adelphi, Pace and Queeens over the weekend to improve to 12-1 in the region?Bryant Bryant ran its conference unbeaten streak to 33 matches with a 3-0 win over Saint Michael's ... In the win over Saint Michael's, senior Michelle Muniz went over the 2,000 career kill mark and needs just 39 kills to pass Maria Bras for the all-time career kill record that stands at 2,045 ... Also in the win over Millersville on Saturday, Jessica Cegarra went over the 1,000 career kill mark with 16 on the day. Cegarra also set a personal best with 11 total blocks in the match?Merrimack The Warriors went 2-2 last week, defeating American International and Southern Connecticut by identical 3-0 scores before losing to Adelphi 3-0 and Queens 3-1 on Saturday at Bentley. Senior Lindsay Larson (Mission Viejo, Calif.) led the offense, posting 49 kils in four matches while senior Kendall Rizzo (Chelmsford, Mass.) chipped in with 101 assists. The Warriors have won four of their last seven matches and return to action this Friday when they begin play at the Queens College Tournament? Stonehill Senior OH Doree Blanco (Warwick, R.I.) became the fourth player in Skyhawk history to reach the 1,000 career kill plateau with 15 kills in Thursday's triumph over Saint Anselm...Stonehill has won three straight league matches dating back to September 21st and has posted a .305 team attack percentage in those outings? Southern New Hampshire Senior Brittany Porter(Riverton, WY) recorded a season-high 27 kills during SNHU's 3-2 win over Franklin Pierce Sunday and in the process became the first player in program history to record 1,000 career kills. She has now totaled 1,038 kills over her four-year career.
