Alex Kearney, Bentley (Fr., OH, La Jolla, CA) – Had a hitting percentage of .355 while averaging 4.79 kills, 2.43 digs and 5.21 points in a 4-0 week. Hit .417 with 13 kills and 12 digs versus Saint Anselm. Had a .486 hitting percentage with 20 kills in a 3-0 win over New York Tech. Finished the week with 23 kills, 14 digs, and three blocks in a 3-2 win over C.W. Post. Earned All-Tournament honors in the Bentley Fall Classic.
Northeast-10 Setter of the Week
Tori Piskulick, Bentley (So., S , San Diego, CA) - In a 4-0 week, averaged 13.07 assists while helping Bentley hit .325 as a team. Also averaged 2.93 digs and 1.0 service aces. Highs included 64 assists in a five-game victory over C.W. Post, 17 digs against Bridgeport and five aces at Saint Anselm.
Northeast-10 Libero of the Week
Lauren Raswyck, Assumption (Jr., L, Litchfield, NH) - Averaged 8.00 digs (96 total) in a 2-2 week. Had back-to-back 30-dig performances versus UMass Dartmouth (30) and Merrimack (31). Finished the week with 19 digs versus Philadelphia and 16 digs in a five-set win over Felician.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Jamie Doerrier, Merrimack (Fr., OH, Bay Shore, NY) - Averaged 13.0 kills, 4.5 digs and 2.0 blocks in a pair of wins last week. Had 15 kills in a win over Saint Michael's and 11 against Assumption.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Sarah Sullivan, Assumption (Fr., S, Bourne, MA) - Averaged 4.86 assists (68 total), 1.21 service aces (17), and 2.79 digs (39) in a 2-2 week. Had 17 assists, 2 service aces, and 10 digs in a win over UMass Dartmouth and 12 assists and 10 digs versus Merrimack. Had 12 assists and two service aces versus Philadelphia. In a five-set win over Felician, had 27 assists, a new school record of 12 service aces, and 11 digs.
Carey Demos, Bentley (Jr., MH, Bakersfield, CA) – Had a hitting percentage of .576 and made only two errors in 66 attacks in a 4-0 week. Averaged 2.86 kills and 0.79 blocks with highs of 12 kills against both Saint Anselm and Bridgeport, a .706 hitting percentage against Bridgeport, and six blocks in a 3-2 win over C.W. Post.
Maureen Atkins, Bryant (So., L, Fenton, MO) - Averaged 5.64 digs per game in three matches. Had 20 digs in a 3-0 win over UMass Lowell and added 31 digs plus three aces against C.W. Post. Recorded 62 digs and five service aces for the week.
Tiffany Garry, Bryant (Jr., S, Frankfort, IL) - Averaged 13.0 assists per game in three matches in a 2-1 week. Posted 51 assists plus five aces in a 3-0 win over UMass Lowell and had 56 assists plus seven kills against C.W. Post.
Likica Grceva, Bryant (Jr., OH, Natick, MA) - Averaged 3.09 kills per game in three matches this past week. Had 10 kills and 12 digs in a 3-0 win over UMass Lowell and followed with a 12-kill, nine-service ace performance versus Bridgeport. Had 34 kills, 36 digs, and 13 service aces for the week.
Caitlynn Parnell, Franklin Pierce (Fr., OH, Medina, TX) - In a 2-1 week, averaged 2.88 kills along with 2.66 digs. In a 3-0 win over Saint Anselm, posted eight kills, 11 digs and four blocks. Posted nine kills, eight digs and three blocks in a 3-0 sweep over Southern New Hampshire. In the setback to New Haven, finished with nine kills, three aces, and five digs.
Emily Schultz, Franklin Pierce (So., RS , Salem, WI) - In a 2-1 week, averaged 3.22 kills per game and 4.33 digs per game. Posted a match high 13 kills while hitting a season best .407 in a 3-0 sweep over Saint Anselm. Notched ten kills in and 22 digs in a 3-0 win over Southern New Hampshire. Registered six kills, ten digs and four service aces in a setback to New Haven.
Julie McLaud, Le Moyne (Sr., S, Pine Bush, NY) - Averaged 11.29 assists, 1.14 kills and 2.43 digs in a 1-1 week. Dished out 57 assists in a 3-2 loss to Pace.
Elsa LeGrand, UMass Lowell (Fr., MH, Highlands Ranch, CO) - Posted averages of 3.00 kills and 0.86 blocks per game in a 1-1 week. In a 0-3 loss against Bryant, chipped in 12 kills, four digs and four blocks. Followed with nine kills and two blocks in a 3-1 win over Saint Michael's.
Jamie Doerrier, Merrimack (Fr., OH, Bay Shore, NY) - Averaged 13.0 kills, 4.5 digs and 2.0 blocks in a pair of wins last week. Had 15 kills in a win over Saint Michael's and 11 against Assumption.
Danielle Furka, Pace (So., OH, Massapequa, NY) - In a 2-1 week, averaged 3.0 kills and 3.92 digs. Totaled 17 kills and 28 digs, as well as two service aces against Mercy. Recorded 13 kills and 16 digs in a 3-2 win against Le Moyne.
Stephanie Smetana, Saint Michael's (So., L, Independence, MO ) - Tallied 60 digs (6.0 per game) while adding two kills, two assists and a service ace in a 1-2 week. Had 24 digs at UMass Lowell, 19 digs and two assists at Merrimack, and 17 digs, two kills and a service ace versus Norwich.
Stephanie Brink, Saint Rose (Jr., OH, Port Ewen, NY) - Pounded out 48 kills to go with 12 blocks and six digs in a 3-0 week. Recorded 22 kills and six blocks in a 3-1 victory over Bridgeport. Had a .432 hitting percentage for the week, averaging 4.4 kills per game and 1.1 blocks per game.
Shannon Campbell, Saint Rose (Sr., S, Charlton, NY) - Racked up 132 assists in a 3-0 week. Dished out a season-high 54 assists in a 3-1 victory over Bridgeport. Handed out 42 assists in a 3-0 win over Southern Connecticut Averaged 12.0 assists per game.
Mary German, Saint Rose (Fr., L, Canandaigua, NY) - Collected 63 digs in a 3-0 week. Recorded 23 digs in wins over Bridgeport and Pace. Registered 17 digs in a 3-0 sweep over Southern Connecticut. Averaged 5.7 digs per game.
Brooke LeFort, Southern New Hampshire (Jr., OH, Cumberland, RI) - Averaged 3.14 kills during a 1-1 week. Posted a .368 hitting percentage and contributed 17 kills in a win over Rivier.
Weekly Notes: SAINT ROSE: Shannon Campbell recorded 42 assists in a 3-0 win over Southern Connecticut State Saturday, becoming the first player in Saint Rose annals to record 4,000 assists in her career.
