South Easton, Mass. – Bentley College senior middle hitter Christina Sadowski (Salem, N.H.) has been named the 2007 Northeast-10 Volleyball Player of the Year as voted by the conference’s 15 coaches.

Sadowski has helped lead Bentley to its 27th straight appearance in the Northeast-10 volleyball championship. She currently ranks second in the conference in hitting percentage (.357) as well as being ranked 33rd among the NCAA Division II leaders. Sadowski also ranks fifth in the NE-10 in blocks per game with 1.08. In addition, Sadowski was named to the All Northeast-10 First-Team for the third time in her collegiate career.

Assumption College senior libero Lauren Raswyck (Litchfield, N.H.) has been selected the 2007 Northeast-10 Libero of the Year. Currently, Raswyck leads the conference in digs with 6.21 and is ranked 12th among the Division II leaders. In addition, she was also named to the All Northeast-10 Second-Team.

For the third time in her collegiate career Bryant University senior setter Tiffany Garry (Frankfort, Ill.) has been selected the Northeast-10 Setter of the Year. She won the award as a freshman and as a sophomore. Garry has helped lead the Bulldogs to the Northeast-10 volleyball championship for the 27th straight time. She ranks fourth in the conference in assists per game (10.61) and is fourth in service aces (103), which rank her 13th overall among the Division II leaders. The four-time All Northeast-10 selection has also been named to the All Northeast-10 First-Team.

Merrimack College’s Molly Cindric (Westlake Village, Calif.) has been named the 2007 Northeast-10 Freshman of the Year. In just her first year of collegiate play, Cindric is currently ranked sixth among the conference leaders in hitting percentage (.282) and second in kills (3.99 per game). She is also ranked nationally in kills. In addition, Cindric was named to the All Northeast-10 First-Team.

Merrimack’s Joey Pacis was selected the 2007 Northeast-10 Coach of the Year. Pacis guided the Warriors to an 11-3 conference record (17-12 overall) and a trip to the Northeast-10 championship as the third seed.

Sponsoring 23 championship sports and 15 full-time members, the Northeast-10 is the second largest NCAA Division II athletic conference in the nation and sponsors the most championships of any Division II conference.
