Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Caitlynn Parnell, Franklin Pierce (So., OH, Medina, Texas) - Averaged 4.8 kills and 2.6 digs per game, along with recording two blocks, while hitting .380 in a 3-0 week. Recorded back-to-back 19-kill performances against Stonehill and Concordia, combining for a .470 hitting percentage, 15 digs and four blocks. Followed that up with 11 digs and 10 kills against Saint Anselm.

Northeast-10 Setter of the Week

Tori Piskulick, Bentley (Jr., S, San Diego, Calif.) - In a 3-1 week, averaged 13.44 assists, 3.22 digs, 1.0 kills and 0.4 aces. Had 47 assists in a three-game sweep of Merrimack, and double-doubles versus both C.W. Post and Georgian Court.

Northeast-10 Libero of the Week

Lauren Raswyck, Assumption (Sr., L, Litchfield, N.H.) - Amassed 89 digs (8.09 per game) and had 10 aces in a 3-0 week. Set a new school record with 53 digs in a five-set win over Saint Anselm. Combined for 36 digs and six aces in two matches in victories over Worcester State and WPI in the Worcester City Tournament.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Michelle Koike, Franklin Pierce (Fr., MH, San Francisco, Calif.) - Averaged 10 kills and 4.33 digs per game along with recording, nine blocks and seven service aces while hitting .429 in a 3-0 week. Recorded nine kills, three service aces and a .538 hitting percentage in a 3-0 win over Stonehill, then had 13 kills and five blocks in a 3-1 win over Concordi.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Kambryn Williams, American International (Fr., OH, Pomona, Calif.) - Had 13 kills while totaling eight digs against Bryant.

Aimee Drainville, Assumption (Fr., MH, Rockville, R.I.) - Hit .403 with 30 kills (3.0 kpg) in a 3-0 week. Had nine kills in a five-set win over Saint Anselm. Combined for 21 kills (4.20 kpg) and a .472 hitting pct in victories over Worcester State and WPI in the Worcester City Tournament. Had 12 kills (.478 hitting pct) against WPI in the championship match.

Marilisa Strand, Assumption (Fr., S, Sarasota, Fla.) - Hit .619 with 17 kills, 81 assists (7.36 apg), and 29 digs in a 3-0 week. Had seven kills (.400 pct), 28 assists, and 12 digs in a five-set win over Saint Anselm. Hit a combined .818 (10 kills on 11 attempts) with 53 assists (8.83 apg) and 17 digs in victories over Worcester State and WPI to earn Most Valuable Player plaudits at the Worcester City Tournament. Was a perfect 7-for-7 in hitting in the championship match against WPI.

Susan Harrahy, Bentley (Jr., OH, Nashua, N.H.) – Recorded 3.91 kills per game and had six aces in a 3-1 week. In addition, hit .255 and averaged 2.55 digs. In a 3-0 win versus Merrimack, hit .425 with 22 kills, seven digs and 25 points. Had 10 kills and 11 digs in a 3-0 win over Georgian Court.

Karissa Hookstadt, Franklin Pierce (Jr., S, Camarillo, Calif.) - Averaged 13.5 assists per game, while recording seven blocks in a 3-0 week. Against Concordia, recorded 52 digs and five kills while adding, four blocks and six service aces.

Chelsie Kohout, Franklin Pierce (Fr., L, Harrison Township, Mich.) - Averaged 5.3 digs in a 3-0 week. In a win over Concordia, recorded 25 digs.

Molly Cindric, Merrimack (Fr., OH, Westlake Village, Calif.) - Recorded 18 kills and 12 digs in a win over Bridgeport. Also tallied 20 kills against UMass Lowell and seven kills and 10 digs against Bentley.

Ashley D'Agostini, Pace (Sr., S, San Diego, Calif.) - Averaged 9.22 assists and 2.22 digs per game in a 1-1 week. Against Mercy, totaled 38 assists, and 14 digs, while chipping in eights kills and four total blocks. In a win over Saint Michael's, tallied 45 assists, six digs and four kills.

Korena Johnson, Pace (Jr., MH, Friendswood, Texas) - Averaged three kills and 3.44 digs per game along with seven service aces in a 1-1 week. Totaled 12 kills, 21 digs and three aces against Mercy. In a win over Saint Michael's, recorded 15 kills, 10 digs and four aces.

Sianna Johnson, Pace (Fr., MH, Long Beach, Calif.) - Averaged two kills and 0.89 blocks per game in a 1-1 week. Against Mercy, totaled nine kills, three service aces and six total blocks (five solo). In a win over Saint Michael's, recorded nine kills and two solo blocks.

Stephanie Brink, Saint Rose (Sr., OH, Port Ewen, N.Y.) - Chalked up 22 kills for an average of 4.40 per-game and also hit .500 having last week. In a 3-0 loss at Le Moyne, pounded out 14 kills and hit .500. In a 3-0 win versus Post, registered eight kills and a .500 hitting percentage.

Mary German, Saint Rose (So., L, Canandaigua, N.Y.) – Came up with 44 digs in six games for an average of 7.33 per-game during a 1-1 week. In a 3-0 setback at Le Moyne, tallied 23 digs and an ace. In a 3-0 win over Post, recorded 21 digs without a receiving error.

Jessica Weaver, Saint Rose (Jr., S, Dolgeville, N.Y.) - Dished out 69 assists in six games for an average of 11.50 per-game in a 1-1 week. Also served up nine aces and collected 11 digs. In a 3-0 loss at Le Moyne, had 42 assists to go with nine digs. In a 3-0 decision over Post, recorded nine service aces and also contributed 27 assists.

Nekane Mendizabal, Southern Connecticut (Jr., MH, Stratford, Conn.) – Posted 15 kills and 11 digs in the 3-2 loss against American International. Had nine kills and six digs in a 3-0 win over Caldwell, while recording three kills and 14 digs in the 3-2 loss to USP.

Stephanie Dluginski, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., MH, Floral Park, N.Y.) - Averaged 2.17 blocks and two kills per game in a 2-1 week. Totaled 11 blocks (eight solo) in a five-game win over UMass Lowell, and then followed that up with 10 blocks (five solo) in a loss to Concordia. Posted eight kills in each of three matches.

Weekly Notes: 

ASSUMPTION: Senior libero Lauren Raswyck (Litchfield, NH/Campbell) recorded 53 digs in a five-set win over Saint Anselm last week to break her own school record for most in a match. She previously had 46 at Saint Michael’s last season (10-14-06).

FRANKLIN PIERCE: Head coach Sharon Bonaventure earned her 200th career win with Saturday's 3-0 victory over Saint Anselm. She has posted a career mark of 200-110 (.645) with Franklin Pierce, West Chester (Pa.) and the University of Maine-Machias.

SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE: Wednesday night's 3-2 win over UMass Lowell was the first for the Penmen since 1986, snapping a 27-match winless streak against the River Hawks. It was also just the third win for Southern New Hampshire in 47 matches against UMass Lowell.
