Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Likica Grceva, Bryant (Sr., OH, Natick, Mass.) - Averaged 5.12 kills per game and hit .381 in five matches this past week. Had 22 kills and hit .450 in a win over C.W. Post and had 16 kills in a 3-0 win over Queens. In addition, had 34 digs and was named all-tournament at the Bryant Invitational.

Northeast-10 Setter of the Week

Tiffany Garry, Bryant (Sr., S, Frankfort, IL) - Averaged 12.12 assists per game in a 5-0 week. Had 61 assists in a 3-1 win over C.W. Post and had 17 service aces for the week, including seven in a 3-0 win over Queens. In addition, was named Setter of the tournament at the Bryant Invitational.

Northeast-10 Libero of the Week

Lauren Raswyck, Assumption (Sr., L, Litchfield, N.H.) - In a 2-1 week, had 93 digs (7.75 per game). Had 30 digs in the five-set win over Southern New Hampshire, 37 digs at Pace, and 26 digs in a victory at Molloy.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Molly Cindric, Merrimack (Fr., OH, Westlake Village, Calif.) – Recorded 4.63 kills per game in a 3-0 week (11 games). Had 20 kills in 3-0 match against Stonehill hitting 0.486. Had 20 kills and 17 digs in a five-set match victory over Franklin Pierce.

Weekly Honor Roll:


Jess Haller, Assumption (So., OH, Meriden, Conn.) - Recorded 32 kills (2.67 kpg) and had 47 digs (3.92 dpg) in a 2-1 week. Had 19 kills along with 18 digs in a five-set win over Southern New Hampshire. Had 17 digs at Pace and 7 kills in a victory at Molloy.

Marilisa Strand, Assumption (Fr., S, Sarasota, Fla.) - Had 16 kills (.500 pct), 125 assists (10.42 per game), and 42 digs (3.50 per game) in a 2-1 week. Had 57 assists and 14 digs in a five-set win over Southern New Hampshire. Recorded 26 assists and 11 digs at Pace. Finished the week with 42 assists and 17 digs in a win at Molloy.

Alex Kearney, Bentley (So., OH, La Jolla, Calif.) – In a 3-1 week, averaged 3.54 kills, 3.46 digs and 0.38 aces per game. Had 14 kills versus Queens and 16 digs against Merrimack. Hit .159 for the week.

Tori Piskulick, Bentley (Jr., S, San Diego, Calif.) - In a 3-1 week, recorded 11.54 assists, 3.08 digs, 0.85 kills and 0.62 aces per game. Had 52 assists in a 3-1 win at Franklin Pierce, and served three aces against both Bloomfield and Queens.

Christina Sadowski, Bentley (Sr., MH, Salem, N.H.) - Hit .344 and averaged 2.54 kills and 0.69 blocks per game during a 3-1 week. Had a .421 hitting percentage, 12 kills and three blocks in a four-game win at Franklin Pierce. In addition, was selected to the All-Tournament team at the Bryant Invitational

Maureen Atkins, Bryant (Jr., L, Fenton, Mo.) - Averaged 4.4 digs per game (71 total) and had a .977 reception attempt percentage in a 5-0 week. Came up with 22 digs in a win over C.W. Post. In addition, was named Libero of the Tournament at the Bryant Invitational.

Caitlynn Parnell, Franklin Pierce (So., OH , Medina, Texas) – Recorded 3.12 kills while also averaging 3.69 digs and 0.75 blocks per game in four matches last week. Recorded 15 kills and 16 digs against Bentley, and posted 14 kills and 21 digs in a win over UMass Lowell.

Elsa LeGrand, UMass Lowell (So., OH, Highlands Ranch, Colo.) - Posted averages of 3.05 kills, 0.86 blocks, 1.29 digs and 0.43 aces in a 2-4 week. Had 14 kills and five blocks in a 3-0 win over Wilmington; 11 kills and eight blocks in a 3-2 loss to Adelphi. Had 12 kills in both a 3-0 win at American International and a 3-1 loss at Franklin Pierce. In addition was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Le Moyne Invitational.

Lisa Barr, Merrimack (So., OH, Alberta, Canada) - Averaged 3.7 kills per game in a 3-0 week (10 games). Had 13 kills and no errors hitting 0.481 in a 3-0 win over Saint Anselm.

Danielle Furka, Pace (Jr., MH, Massapequa, N.Y.) - Average 2.6 kills and five digs in a 2-1 week. Totaled 26 kills and 50 digs for the week. Posted 14 kills along with 14 digs in win over Bridgeport. Tallied 22 digs against Dowling. In a win over Assumption, recorded 11 kills, 14 digs and two total blocks.
Sianna Johnson, Pace (Fr., MH, Long Beach, Callif.) - Had 3.3 kills and 1.3 total blocks per game in a 2-1 week. Totaled 33 kills and 13 blocks for the week. Posted 15 kills and seven blocks along with three service aces in win over Bridgeport. Tallied eight kills and two blocks against Dowling. In a win over Assumption, recorded 10 kills and four total blocks, with a .526 hitting percentage.

Stephanie Brink, Saint Rose (Sr., OH, Port Ewen, N.Y.) - Hit .247 with 38 kills and nine total blocks during a 3-0 week. Averaged 2.92 kills per game. Hit .462 with 16 kills in a 3-1 win over Mercy. In a pair of matches on Saturday, dropped in 11 kills in both matches and also added six total blocks.

Mary German, Saint Rose (So., L, Canandaigua, N.Y.) - Recorded 67 digs in 13 games during a 3-0 week. Averaged 5.15 digs per game and also had 12 service aces. In a 3-1 win versus Mercy, picked up 24 digs and also had three aces. In the victory against Saint Michael's, registered 22 digs and eight aces.

Jessica Weaver, Saint Rose (Jr., S, Dolgeville, N.Y.) – Averaged 9.23 assists, and recorded 22 digs and eight aces in 13 games during a 3-0 week. In a 3-1 win over Saint Michael's, Weaver recorded 42 assists to go with 12 digs and in a 3-2 triumph versus NYIT, dished out 40 assists and also served up three aces.

Stephanie Dluginski, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., MH, Floral Park, N.Y.) - Averaged 3.31 kills and one block per game in a 2-2 week while recording a .229 hitting percentage. Posted 19 kills in a 3-1 win over Felician. Registered 16 kills and nine blocks (two solo, seven assisted) in a 3-2 win over Philadelphia Sciences.

Weekly Notes:

ASSUMPTION: Freshman setter Marilisa Strand (Sarasota, Fla.) had a career-high 57 assists in the thrilling come-from-behind five-set win over Southern N.H. last Tuesday. It is the fifth best assist total in school history.

SAINT ROSE:
Ninth-year head coach Brian Goodale picked up his 150th career win at the helm of the Golden Knights with a pair of victories on Saturday. Saint Rose is perfect at home this season (4-0) and has won 16 straight on its home floor dating back to the 2005 campaign.
