Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Elizabeth Cheek, Le Moyne (So., OH, Huntington Beach, Calif.) - In a 2-1 week, recorded 53 kills (4.42 k/pg), 12 aces (1 a/pg) and 41 digs (3.42 d/pg).

Northeast-10 Setter of the Week

Karissa Hookstadt, Franklin Pierce (Jr., S, Camarillo, Calif.) - Averaged 12.00 assists, 3.12 digs, 1.00 blocks and 0.88 kills per game in two matches last week. Had 60 assists to go along with 14 digs, five blocks and four kills against Merrimack, then added 36 assists, 11 digs, three blocks and three kills in a three-set win over Southern Connecticut.

Northeast-10 Libero of the Week

Cassie Kraft, Bentley (So., L, New Braunfels, Texas) - Averaged 5.69 digs and 0.46 aces during a 1-2 week. Had 29 digs in a 3-2 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills, and 27, along with three aces, in a 3-1 loss at Cal Poly Pomona.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Molly Cindric, Merrimack (Fr., OH, Westlake Village, Calif.) - Led the team with 44 kills (4.89/gm) and 10 blocks (1.11/gm) while hitting .267 in a 2-1 week. Also added 23 digs (2.56/gm).

Weekly Honor Roll:

Katie Wilkinson, American International (So., OH, Silverdale, Wash.) - Totaled 12 kills and 17 digs in a 3-2 comeback victory over Saint Michael's.

Tori Piskulick, Bentley (Jr., S, San Diego, Calif.) - In a 1-2 week, averaged 9.77 assists, 3.08 digs and 0.92 kills, and hit .211. Set 49 assists in a 3-2 win over Cal. State Dominguez Hills along with 18 digs and five kills. Had 47 assists in a four-game loss at New Haven.

Christina Sadowski, Bentley (Sr., MH, Salem, N.H.) - In a 1-2 week, hit .286 and averaged 2.62 kills and 0.85 blocks. Had 14 kills and three blocks in a 3-2 win at Cal. State Dominguez Hills, and 10 kills and six blocks in a 3-1 loss to New Haven. Hit .350 with 10 kills at Cal Poly Pomona.

Tiffany Garry, Bryant (Sr., S, Frankfort, Ill.) - Averaged 10.75 assists per game and tallied 11 service aces in a 3-0 week. Had 51 assists plus four kills and three aces in a 3-2 win at Saint Rose and had 40 assists plus five kills and six aces in a 3-1 win at Le Moyne.

Likica Grceva, Bryant (Sr., OH, Natick, Mass.) - Averaged 3.83 kills per game in three wins last week. Had 17 kills in a 3-1 win at Le Moyne, hitting .282 and adding 13 digs and five blocks. Had 16 kills and three service aces in a 3-2 win over Saint Rose. Had 13 kills and five aces in a win over Stonehill.

Nicole Buchholz, Franklin Pierce (Jr., MH, Ashburn, Va.) - Averaged 3.62 kills, 2.12 blocks and 1.38 digs in two matches last week. Recorded 16 kills and 14 blocks against Merrimack, then recorded 13 kills and three blocks in a win over Southern Connecticut.

Chelsie Kohout, Franklin Pierce (Fr., L, Harrison Township, Mich.) - Averaged 3.38 digs per game in a 1-1 week. Posted 18 digs against Merrimack and added nine digs versus Southern Connecticut.

Kaylin Brainerd, Le Moyne (So., S, Liverpool, N.Y.) - Dished out 150 (12.5 a/pg) assists in a 2-1 weekend. Recorded 68 assists in a 3-2 victory over Stonehill.

Krista Prentice, Le Moyne (Fr., OH, Amherst, N.Y.) - Recorded 36 kills (3 k/pg), nine aces (.75 a/pg) and 29 digs (2.42 d/pg) in a 2-1 weekend. Recorded 20 kills and 10 digs against in 3-2 win over Stonehill.

Jillian Hadder, UMass Lowell (Fr., OH, Yucaipa, Calif.) - Posted averages of 3.50 kills and 3.36 digs in a 1-3 week. Opened the week with 15 kills and 16 digs in a 3-1 victory over Assumption. Followed with 10 kills and seven digs in a 0-3 loss to Georgian Court in the East Stroudsburg Tournament, and 19 kills, 18 digs and five aces in a 1-3 loss to Augusta State. Closed the tournament with five kills and six digs in a 1-3 loss to Kutztown.

Elyse Lorenz, Merrimack (Fr., S, Frankfort, Ill.) - Tallied 99 assists in three matches (9.9/gm) this past week while also recording four service aces.

Stephanie Smetana, Saint Michael's (Jr., L, Independence, Mo.) - In a 1-1 week, totaled 63 digs with 30 in a straight set victory over Assumption.
Stephanie Brink, Saint Rose (Sr., OH, Port Ewen, N.Y.) - Recorded 43 assists for an average of 3.31 per-game in a 1-2 week. Hit .284 with 10 digs and nine total blocks. Finished with 17 digs and a .419 hitting percentage in a 3-2 victory over Stonehill. In a 3-2 loss versus Bryant, recorded 19 kills and hit .343 for the match.

Mary German, Saint Rose (So., L, Canandaigua, N.Y.) - Came up with 71 digs for an average of 5.46 per-game along with nine aces in a 1-2 week. In a 3-2 win versus Stonehill, recorded 26 digs and five aces. Chipped in with 32 digs and three assists in a 3-2 loss against Bryant.

Stephanie Dluginski, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., MH, Floral Park, N.Y.) - Averaged 3.3 kills and 0.6 blocks per game in a 1-2 week with a .318 hitting percentage. Totaled 16 kills and three solo blocks in a 3-1 win over Saint Anselm.

Weekly Notes:

BENTLEY: Senior Christina Sadowski became the third player in school history to reach the 1,200 mark in career kills. Junior Tori Piskulick, with 3,397 assists, moved into third on Bentley’s all-time list in that category.

SAINT ROSE: Sophomore libero Mary German recorded her 1,000th dig on Friday night to become the seventh player in program history to do so. In only her second season, German reached the plateau in the shortest amount of games ever having played in 174 at this juncture.
