Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Likica Grceva, Bryant (Sr., OH, Natick, Mass.) - Averaged 4.44 kills and 4.44 digs per game in three wins last week. Had 15 kills and 18 digs in a win at Assumption and followed with 12 kills and 13 digs in a win over Philadelphia Sciences.

Northeast-10 Setter of the Week

Tori Piskulick, Bentley (Jr., S, San Diego, Calif.) – In a 3-0 week, average 14.44 assists, 3.67 digs, 1.44 kills, and 0.22 blocks. Also hit .478 during the week. Had 46 assists versus Stonehill, 47 against Southern Connecticut and 37 against Adelphi. Other highs included seven kills, six aces and a .700 hitting percentage versus Southern Connecticut, and 13 digs at Stonehill.

Northeast-10 Libero of the Week

Cassie Kraft, Bentley (So., L, New Braunfels, Texas) - In a 3-0 week, amassed a total of 63 digs, an average of seven per game. Had 28 digs at Stonehill, 20 against Southern Connecticut and 15 versus Adelphi.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Molly Cindric, Merrimack (Fr., OH, Westlake Village, Calif.) - Averaged 3.70 kills per game this past week. Added 2.5 digs per game and eight blocks, leading Merrimack with 42.5 points in a 2-1 week.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Alex Kearney, Bentley (So., OH, La Jolla, Calif.) - In a 3-0 week, led Bentley with 3.44 kills and 4.5 points per game, and also averaged 3.00 digs and 0.62 blocks. Had a .237 hitting percentage. Had double-digit kills in each match and a double-double (11 kills, 14 digs) and four blocks against Adelphi.

Christina Sadowski, Bentley (Sr., MH, Salem, N.H.) - Hit .417 and averaged 3.44 kills and 1.33 blocks in a 3-0 week. Had 12 kills and a .391 hitting percentage versus Stonehill, 13 kills and a .611 hitting percentage against Southern Connecticut and seven blocks versus 26-5 Adelphi. In the two NE-10 wins, hit .488. Topped both 1300 kills and 500 blocks for her career, becoming only the fourth conference player to do so.

Adrienne Boss, Bryant (Fr., MH, Dracut, Mass.) - Averaged 2.33 kills and 2.56 blocks per game in three wins last week. Had 11 kills and no errors on 15 swings (.733 percentage) in a win over Post University. Added six blocks including four solos in the win. Had eight blocks in a win over Philadelphia Sciences and seven in a win over Assumption.

Tiffany Garry, Bryant (Sr., S, Frankfork, Ill.) - Averaged 9.89 assists per game and had six service aces in three wins last week. Had 36 assists and four kills plus 10 digs in a 3-0 win at Assumption. Also added 30 assists and three aces in a win over Philadelphia Sciences.

Nicole Buchholz, Franklin Pierce (Jr., MH, Ashburn, Va.) - Posted 16 kills on .448 hitting in a 3-0 win over American International. Added seven blocks, six digs and two service aces.

Karissa Hookstadt, Franklin Pierce (Jr., S, Camarillo, Calif.) - Posted 34 assists (11.33/game) in the 3-0 win over American International. Also added 10 digs, four blocks and three kills.

Kaylin Brainerd, Le Moyne (So., S, Liverpool, N.Y.) - Assisted on 54 kills (13.5 per game) in a 3-1 victory over Saint Michael's.

Elsa LeGrand, UMass Lowell (So., OH, Highlands Ranch, Colo.) - Registered averages of 3.57 kills, 1.57 digs and 1.14 blocks per game while hitting .347 in a 1-1 week. In a 3-0 win at Saint Anselm, posted 14 kills, three digs and three blocks while hitting .357. Followed with 11 kills, eight digs and five blocks while hitting .333 in a 3-1 loss to Pace.

Vicky Wong, UMass Lowell (Fr., OH, Tewksbury, Mass.) - Posted averages of 3.67 kills and 2.00 digs per game while hitting .280 in a 1-1 week. Highlighted the week with 17 kills and nine digs while hitting .382 in a 3-0 victory at Saint Anselm.

Ale Kuncaitis, Merrimack (Jr., OH, Canton, Mass.) - Led the team with 3.67 digs, 2.92 kills per game while getting five blocks this past week.

Elyse Lorenz, Merrimack (Fr., S, Frankfort, Ill.) - Averaged 11.83 assists per game over 12 games. Had eight service aces and added five blocks on the week with wins over Pace and Saint Michael’s.

Ashley D'Agostini, Pace (Sr., S, San Diego, Calif.) - Averaged 8.86 assists, 4.14 digs and 1.71 kills in a 1-1 weekend. Posted 38 assists and 22 digs along with seven kills in a win over UMass Lowell. Totaled 24 assists, seven digs and five kills against Merrimack.

Danielle Furka, Pace (Jr., OH, Massapequa, N.Y.) - Averaged three kills and 2.71 digs in a 1-1 weekend. Tallied 15 kills along with eight digs and four service aces in a win over UMass Lowell. Totaled six kills and 11 digs against Merrimack.
Stephanie Brink, Saint Rose (Sr., OH, Port Ewen, N.Y.) - Recorded 11 kills and hit .300 in a 3-1 setback versus American International. Averaged 2.75 kills per-game and also came up with three total blocks at the net.

Nekane Mendizabal, Southern Connecticut (Jr., MH, Stratford, Conn.) - Recorded a double-double with 13 kills and 14 digs to go with five blocks (one solo) versus Concordia. Also registered nine kills, 11 digs and four blocks (two solo) against Felician. Tallied six kills, 12 digs and three block assists at Bentley. Also rang up seven kills, seven digs and one block assist against Adelphi.

Weekly Notes:

ASSUMPTION:
Senior libero Lauren Raswyck finished her career as the program leader in career digs with 1,930. She also became the first player in school history to record back-to-back 500 dig seasons.

BENTLEY: Senior Christina Sadowski became only the fourth player in conference history to amass both 1300 career kills and 500 blocks. Bentley reached the 20-win plateau for the seventh straight year and the 20th time in coach Sandy Hoffman's 26 years at the helm.

BRYANT:
The Bulldogs enter the week ranked No. 2 in the latest regional poll. Bryant will be the top seed of the NE-10 tournament after winning the conference regular season title with a 14-0 record. Bryant has won six straight and 12 of its last 13 matches.

MERRIMACK:
The Warriors clinched third place in the conference with a 3-0 win over Pace Saturday. This is the first time in school history the Warriors have posted a perfect home record (9-0) in a season.

SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT: With 11 wins in 2007, the Owls have improved its win total in each of Lisa Barbero's four seasons as head coach.
