Northeast-10 Player and Freshman of the Week

Ellisha Terry, American International (Fr., OH, Fort Worth, Texas) - Averaged 4.20 kills and 2.90 digs per game and hit .384 (42 kills, nine errors, 86 total attacks) in a 3-0 week. Recorded 15 kills and six digs in a 3-0 win over Southern Connecticut, 12 kills and 14 digs in a 3-1 win over Le Moyne and 15 kills with nine digs in a 3-0 win at Saint Anselm.

Northeast-10 Setter of the Week

Kervelle Redhead, American International (Fr., S, St. James, Trinidad and Tobago) - Averaged 11.20 assists and 3.30 digs per game in a 3-0 week. Had 36 assists, seven digs and four service aces in a 3-0 win over Southern Connecticut, had 41 assists and 18 digs in a 3-1 win over LeMoyne and tallied 35 assists and eight digs in a 3-0 win at Saint Anselm.

Northeast-10 Libero of the Week

Katrina Ali, New Haven (Sr., L, Christ Church, Barbados) - In a 4-0 week, including three wins at the Shippensburg Regional Crossover, tallied 64 digs (4.27 digs per set). Also recorded nine assists and two aces for the Chargers.


Weekly Honor Roll:

Jenn Hormann, American International (Jr., L, Forest Grove, Ore.) - Averaged 4.20 digs per game in a 3-0 week. Recorded seven digs against Southern Connecticut, 19 digs against LeMoyne and 16 digs at Saint Anselm.

Kambryn Williams, American International (So., OH, Pomona, Calif.) - Averaged 3.00 kill, 3.00 digs and 0.90 service aces per game in a 3-0 week. Had nine kills, nine digs and four service aces in a 3-0 win over Southern Connecicut and tallied 12 kills and 15 digs in a 3-1 win over LeMoyne. Closed the week by posting nine kills, six digs and four service aces in a 3-0 win at Saint Anselm.

Alaura Berry, Bentley (So., MH, San Diego, Calif.) - Hit .488 while averaging 2.2 kills and 0.7 blocks during a 1-2 week; had only two errors in 41 attacks during the week with a .556 hitting percentage against Assumption and .526, with 11 kills, against Incarnate Word.

Cassie Kraft, Bentley (Jr., L, New Braunfels, Texas) - Averaged 5.2 digs during a 1-2 week, with 22 in three games versus Merrimack, 15 in three at Incarnate Word and 15 in a 3-1 victory over Assumption; also had two aces against Assumption.

Kristine Mickelson, Bentley (Jr., MH, San Diego, Calif.) - Averaged 3.4 kills and 1.4 blocks while hitting .333 during a 1-2 week. Hit .435 with 14 kills in a 3-0 win over Assumption, and .348 with 11 kills in a loss at Merrimack. Had six blocks in the Merrimack match and four against both Assumption and Incarnate Word.

Nicole Buchholz, Franklin Pierce (Sr., MH, Broadlands, Va.) - Averaged 3.33 kills, 0.75 digs and 0.58 blocks per set in a 2-1 week. Recorded 17 kills and three blocks against Southern New Hampshire. Tallied 18 kills at Pace. Posted five kills, five digs and three blocks at Adelphi.

Chelsie Kohout, Franklin Pierce (So., L, Harrison Township, Mich.) - Recorded 3.92 digs per set in a 2-1 week. Recorded 17 digs against Southern New Hampshire and tallied 18 digs at Pace. Posted 12 digs later at Adelphi.

Ale Kuncaitis, Merrimack (Sr., MH, Canton, Mass.) - Led the team to a 3-0 win over Bentley with 15 kills, 16 digs, and two service aces, while hitting .351.

Elyse Lorenz, Merrimack (So., L, Frankfort, Ill.) - Recorded 42 assists and 10 digs in the 3-0 win over Bentley.

Charisse Cotton, New Haven (Sr., OH, East Patchogue, N.Y.) – The team went 3-0 at the Shippensburg Regional Crossover defeating Shippensburg, Edinboro and Millersville in the two day tournament. Also defeated UMass Lowell earlier in the week. Led the team with 64 kills in the four matches and tallied 4.27 kills per set and added eight total blocks. Recorded a .350 hitting percentage and added six digs as well.

Rhe-Ann Niles, New Haven (Gr., MH, St. Thomas, Barbados) – In a 4-0 week, including three wins at the Shippensburg Regional Crossover. Led the team with a .529 hitting percentage off 51 kills and five errors on 87 total attempts. Tallied four solo blocks and assisted on 12 other stops. Also recorded seven service aces and nine digs. Averaged 3.40 kills, 1.07 blocks and 0.47 aces per set.

Yael Rosner, New Haven (Sr., S, Haifi, Isreal) - In a 4-0 week, including three wins at the Shippensburg Regional Crossover tallied 148 assists (9.87 assists per set). Also averaged 2.20 digs per set (33 total) and recorded seven total blocks. Nailed 24 kills, with six errors on 67 attempts (.269 hitting percentage).

Amy Manougian, Saint Michael's (Sr., S, Rye, N.H.) - Tallied a match-high 41 assists (10.25 per game), and added 10 digs and six service aces in a 3-1 win versus Plattsburgh.

Stephanie Dluginski, Southern New Hampshire (So., MH, Floral Park, N.Y.) - Totaled 21 kills (3.0 kps) and nine blocks (three solo) in a 1-1 week. Registered 14 kills, four blocks and a .308 hitting percentage in a 3-0 win over Assumption.

Laura Noonan, Stonehill (So., MH, Hampstead, N.H.) - Hit .333 with 16 kills and added 12.5 blocks (1.25 per set) in a 2-1 week for Stonehill.

Weekly Notes:

BENTLEY: Senior Tori Piskulick (San Diego, Calif.), with 4,370 career assists, needs 68 more to surpass Sue Kosh as Bentley’s all-time leader. Junior Cassie Kraft has moved into second on Bentley’s career assist list with 1,389, but is exactly 900 behind the record-holder, Katie Markstein.
