Northeast-10 Has Seven Schools Ranked in Recent Women's Basketball Regional Poll

The NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Committee has
released this week’s Division II women’s basketball
regional rankings for contests through February 17, 2008. The
regional rankings will be released every Wednesday through March
5.
For the fourth straight week the top five teams find themselves in
the same position in the recent Northeast Regional rankings. Holy
Family University of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference
(CACC) still claims the top spot in the region. The Tigers are
followed by four Northeast-10 schools; Stonehill College, Franklin
Pierce University, Assumption College and Bentley College
respectively.
American International jumps a couple of spots into the sixth spot
after being ranked eighth last week. Dominican College of the CACC
jumped two spots as well from number nine to number seven.
Bryant University moved up to eighth this week, while Southern
Connecticut State University slid down to ninth. Wilmington
University steps back into the poll after being unranked last
week.
