Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Kristy McLean, Bentley (Sr., G, Staten Island, N.Y.) - Posted back-to-back 22-point efforts and became Bentley’s 29th 1,000-point scorer during a 1-1 week. Shot 45 percent overall, made 7-of -11 three-pointers, and converted 11-of-12 free throws while also averaging seven rebounds and two assists. Had 22 points with five rebounds and three assists against Southern New Hampshire, and 22 points, nine rebounds and three assists versus Saint Rose.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Megan Howard, Saint Anselm (Fr., F, St. Paul, Minn.) - Averaged a double-double with 15 points and 14.5 rebounds per game this past week. Picked up her 14th and 15th double-doubles of the season, while also averaged two assists, two blocks and two steals per game as well. Had an 18-point, 13-rebound double-double at Pace, followed by a 12-point, 16-rebound double-double at Le Moyne.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Laechia Conley, American International (So., G, Urbandale, Iowa) - Scored a game-high 18 points with five rebounds, three assists and two steals in a 59-57 come-from-behind win at Southern New Hampshire.

Kristin Boesenberg, American International (Jr., F, Pocono Pines, Pa.) - Scored 14 points and had three steals in the 59-57 come-from-behind win at Southern New Hampshire. Scored seven points in the 21-5 run that secured the win.

Bethany Plasski, Assumption (Sr., G, Fall River, Mass.) - In a 2-0 week, averaged 17.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. In a win over New Haven, scored 21 points and had four rebounds as well as two assists. In a win over UMass Lowell, scored 14 points and had three rebounds, three steals and one assist.

Kim Brennan, Bentley (So., G, Locust Valley, N.Y.) - In a 1-1 week, averaged 19 points, 4.5 assists, two rebounds and one steal while shooting 50 percent overall. Scored 19 points in each contest, made six of nine from the floor against Southern New Hampshire and had six assists versus Saint Rose.

Johannah Leedham, Franklin Pierce (Jr., F, Ellesmere Port, England) - Averaged 20.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and a blocked shot in a 2-0 week. Made 47.8-percent of her shots from the field and converted all 18 free-throw attempts for the week. Closed the week out with a game-high 22 points on 6-for-13 shooting from the field and a 10-for-10 effort at the free-throw line to go with five rebounds and two assists in comeback win at New Haven. Posted 19 points, six rebounds, and five assists in the win at Merrimack.

Vanessa Holden, Le Moyne (Sr., F, Suffern, N.Y.) - Averaged 12.5 points, nine rebounds, three assists and two steals per game in 1-1 week. Tallied seven rebounds and four steals in a 57-51 loss at Saint Rose. Registered a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds, to go along with four assists, in a 69-48 win over Saint Anselm.

Amanda Shannon, Merrimack (Sr., G, North Andover, Mass.) - Averaged 25.5 points and five assists in two games this past week. Tallied 28 points, two short of her career high, against Franklin Pierce.

Helin Marte, New Haven (Jr., G, Woodhaven, N.Y.) - Averaged 15.5 points, 8.5 assists and seven rebounds per game in two games this past week. Had 15 points, six rebounds and six assists against Assumption and topped that with a 16 point, 11 assist and eight rebound performance against Franklin Pierce.

Taylor Losey, Pace (Jr., F, Bristol, Conn.) - Averaged 16.5 points, four rebounds and 2.5 assists, while shooting 48-percent from the field in a 2-0 week. Tallied 14 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals, while shooting 5-for-11 from the field in an overtime win over Saint Anselm. Totaled 19 points and three assists, while shooting 7-for-14 from the field in a win over Merrimack.

Justine Lyons, Saint Anselm (Sr., G, Reading, Mass.) - Averaged 20 points, one rebound, two assists and 1.5 steals per game last week. Scored 28 points at Pace, followed by a 12-point showing at Le Moyne.

Logan Pintka, Saint Michael's (So., F, Niskayuna, N.Y.) - In a 79-66 defeat of Southern Connecticut, recorded a game-high 21 points to go along with seven rebounds. Also shot 9-of-12 from the field and added two steals as well.

Lauren Revesz, Saint Rose (Sr., C, Pittsburgh, Pa.) - Averaged 17 points and five rebounds throughout a 2-0 week. Buried 13-of-14 attempts from the line for a 92.9 percentage as well. Tossed in 26 points, pulled down six boards and dished out three assists in an 80-76 win at Bentley. Connected on 9-of-17 shots from the floor and was 7-of-8 from the line. Was a perfect 6-for-6 from the stripe en route to eight points and four caroms in a 57-51 win versus Le Moyne.

Jacqueline Johannes, Southern Connecticut (Jr., F, Southbury, Conn.) - Combined for 29 points, 22 rebounds and seven steals this past week. Hauled in a career-high 17 rebounds, along with nine points and five steals against Saint Michael’s. Later in the week, scored 20 points against No. 20 Stonehill.

Julia Houghtaling, Southern New Hampshire (Jr., F, Franconia, N.H.) - Averaged 16.5 points in a pair of games last week, shooting 52.6-percent from the floor (10-19) and .813 from the free throw line (13-16). Finished with 18 points in a two-point setback to American International.

Megan Methven, Stonehill (Jr., G, Corning, N.Y.) – In a 2-0 week, averaged 17.5 points on 61 percent shooting. In a win over UMass-Lowell, scored 15 points on 4-for-6 shooting including the go-ahead three-pointer with 42 seconds left, a triple that gave her the school record. Then in a win over Southern Connecticut, scored 16 of her 20 points in the second half on 7-for-12 shooting. For the week, made seven of ten three-point attempts and now has a school record 194.

Bethany Tighe, Stonehill (Sr., F, North Easton, Mass.) - Averaged 15 points and 8.5 rebounds on 61 percent shooting in a 2-0 week. Recorded a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds in a 62-59 win over UMass-Lowell then had 13 points and seven boards in a win over Southern Connecticut.

Weekly Notes:

BENTLEY: Senior co-captain Kristy McLean became the 29th player in Bentley history to reach the 1,000 career point plateau during Saturday’s encounter with Saint Rose.

STONEHILL:
Megan Methven became the school's all-time leader in three-pointers made in a career in the win over UMass-Lowell . She now has 194. Bethany Tighe made 16 straight free throws before missing her first attempt in the win over Southern Connecticut. It marked the second time this season she had made at least 15 straight. Stonehill extended its consecutive games with a three-pointer streak to 154 in the win over Southern Connecticut.
