Northeast-10 Player and Freshman of the Week

Nikki Carroll, New Haven (Fr., F, Oswego, N.Y.) - Scored a career-high 25 points and added nine rebounds, five steals and one assist in just 23 minutes of playing time in the 91-63 victory against Adelphi. Shot 11-for-16 from the field and 3-for-3 from the free throw line.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Kristin Boesenberg, American International (Jr., G, Pocono Pines, Pa.) - Scored 11 points and grabbed six rebounds in the 66-54 win over Wilmington (Del.).

Laechia Conley, American International (So., G, Urbandale, Iowa) – Scored 11 points, while dishing out six assists and recording two steals in the 66-54 win over Wilmington (Del.).

Bethany Plasski, Assumption (Sr., G, Fall River, Mass.) -Scored 17 points on 6-for-12 from the field. Added five rebounds, one assist and two steals.

Leslie Lupien, Assumption ( Jr., G, Pomfret Center, Conn.) -Scored 15 points on 6-for-8 field. Landed four rebounds in the setback against Dowling.

Vanessa Holden, Le Moyne (Sr., F, Suffern, N.Y.) - Scored nine points and grabbed nine rebounds in a 54-53 in a loss to Mercyhurst.

Megan Howard, Saint Anselm (Fr., F, St. Paul, Minn.) - Posted a double-double with a 14-point, 11-rebound effort, to go along with two blocks against Southern New Hampshire.

Ashley Anderson, Saint Rose (Sr., F, Portland, Maine) - Averaged 14 points and 8.5 rebounds during a 2-0 week. Also shot 80.0 percent (8-for-10) from the stripe and connected on 10-of-23 attempts from the floor. Registered a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards in a 70-58 win at Bloomfield. Then tossed in 14 points, hauled in six boards and dished out a season-high five assists in a 79-67 triumph versus C.W. Post.

Alex Fiola, Southern Connecticut (Fr., G, Fall River, Mass.) - Finished with a career-high 18 points (16 in the second half) on 6-of-9 shooting, 2-of-2 from behind the arc, hauled in four rebounds and dished out two assists in the 81-64 victory over Bridgeport.

Allyson Smith, Southern Connecticut (Sr., F, East Hampton, Conn.) - Registered a career-high 17 points on 8-of-11 shooting, dragged down eight rebounds and tallied two assists in the win against Bridgeport.

Stephanie Houghton, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., G, Manchester, N.H.) - Finished with 12 points in the win over Saint Anselm, going 4-of-8 from the floor. Also recorded two steals.

Jenny McDade, Southern New Hampshire (Jr., G, Derry, N.H.) - Totaled 12 points and five rebounds in a win over Saint Anselm. Was 4-of-4 at the free throw line and 2-of-4 behind the arc.
