Northeast-10 Weekly Notes:

Stonehill: Stonehill, the top-ranked team in IWLCA Division II national circles for the ninth straight week dating back to April 2005, ran the nation's longest winning streak to 29 straight contests with victories at fifth-ranked Limestone and Division I Howard on its spring break trip. The Skyhawks' current winning streak, which includes last year's perfect 21-0 national championship campaign, dates back to April 2004. The win at Howard was Stonehill's second over a Division I school in the last calendar year, as the Skyhawks also upended Central Connecticut during the 2005 seasons and will face their second straight Division I foe in Siena on Thursday afternoon. Senior M Erin Acone (Bow, N.H.), the two-time defending Northeast-10 Player of the Year, was named to the Tewaaraton Trophy Watch List for the second straight season and is the only Division II player to make the list this year. Stonehill will play the four teams ranked from 2-5 in the IWLCA Division II poll during the season, as the Skyhawks have already bested fifth-ranked Limestone and will also face top-five foes Adelphi, West Chester and C.W. Post in April. Sophomore M Kristin Darrell (West Islip, N.Y.) has a pair of four goal performances already this season and has notched five such total matches in her 23-game career. Nineteen of Stonehill's 29 goals to date have come from its freshman and sophomore classes Saint Anselm: On Thursday Junior Lauren Glancy became just the second player in Hawks history to score 100 goals. With 110 career goals, Glancy is just 20 goals shy of Katelynn O'Connell, who holds the program record at 130 Bryant: Bryant opened its 2006 season with a 21-5 win over Presbyterian Monday and will face New Haven Wednesday in a non-conference matchup in West Palm Beach, Fla.
